Why are Canadian calories less than U.S. calories?

If the goods are odd, the odds are good.

I made it and followed the recipe, but had to bake it longer than listed to get the proper firming and the texture turned out just as expected. It is slightly bland though as written. It's a great recpie to start with, but it needs something else... I just can't quite put my finger on it.

The only diary I'm really concerned with is my own.

 I do love the 100g or so a day though!
-
That's great, for you. For me I feel better and perform great workout wise with lower carbs. I'm not on a low carb diet or anything like that, but my sweet spot for feeling good is around 100g of carbs a day. Any more than that I start to feel bloated and bogged down. I'm not anti carb by any means, I just knwo what works…

I figured the "whole food/real food" would be a given, appearently not. I'm speaking of how you eat aforementioned "real food".

Give this a look for the iphone crowd... Bluetooth, no attachement needed for this hrm to work. http://blog.runningwarehouse.com/running-accessories/wahoo-fitness-bluehr-heart-rate-monitor-strap/

Put your hands on a wall with your feel a bit behind you, think being frisked/searched by police. If you can pull your hands away from the wall without falling toward the wall slightly, your feet aren't far enough back. Do a push-up leaning on the wall to get started.

That's what muscles do at times when working them above and beyond their norm... they get sore and it hurts.

Eat breakfast or not, it's your preference. Do what works for you, eat, log, have as close to a zero balance of calories by bedtime as you can. But that's just me.
-
Don't those just pull water weight out temporarily?
-
Just do what works for you and let it go.

Margarine is primarily partially hydrogenated oil which is a trans-fat. Possibly one of the worst things to ingest in your diet.
-
I don't really, I just eat and log being mindful to leave enough for dinner.

I do believe so. it was modeled after C25k an it was a every other day schedule, like a monday, wed, friday.

People put waaaayyyy to much stock in what the scale says.

The right fats are actually beneficial to you. It's not the enemy.

Sounds like you're doing great so far. There's nothing wrong with a treadmill per se, but for me if I have a choice I'll always choose outside. Actually if it's comes to runnign on a treadmill I may just call it a "Rest day".
-
Treadmill =/= normal running. Outside it's all you pushing yourself forward rather than a motor moving the ground under your moving legs. Get outside more, it's so much more fulfilling.

Please edit out the stuff about exercise calories.... It'll help ensure this thread remains civil j/k

How's it goin? Des Moines here.

Eat enough, move more.

One of the best things you can learn to do along with swimming and reading.

If you're trying to target your belly for fat loss you won't be able to do it. There's no way to lose fat in one paticular part of your body. It looks like you're making great progress though keep it up!

http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml That's the website that started it. You can use the app or you can time it yourself. That webpage has the chart for the times. It's a great program to get started running.

Give the following link a look... http://androidforums.com/verizon/451496-how-much-data-does-pandora-radio-use.html
-
I believe the usage is signifigant. You'd be better to toss some music in the memory of the phone and use the onboard player like a standard mp3 player. If you have an unlimited data plan then use it all you want. I think sprint is the only carrier with truely unlimited plans anymore though.

Use it as a sub for anything you'd use regular milk for.
