I hate olives annoyingly :(
-
Thanks - really keen to try pecans actually. Might give those a go.
-
Thanks I'll try that. I already have cheese in my salad, is there anything else I could add to the salad?

5 ft 3 20 y/o 120.6 lbs workout 5 days a week for minimum of 30 minutes eat between 1600 and 1800 calories a day
-
Definitely going to watch this - it has intrigued me!
-
Take a look at my diary and see what you think - I cook with coconut oil, don't love avocados and already eat a fair amount of meat, which limits my options.
-
It's good and helped me lose weight, but I agree with defmut3, all the info can be found for free online. It's just 3 x 30 minutes resistance sessions working abs/leg/full body separately. It's hard work, I warn you now! I had to stop doing it as it made me feel really ill.

Getting comfortable in a relationship and consuming my body weight in sugar and fatty foods most days whilst we watched movies and went out for dinner, plus never exercising!
-
Open up your diary and I'll try and advise - if I'm able to!
-
Well it certainly varies from person to person, judging by some of the replies I think I'm sleeping a good amount!
-
Sounds like we're in the same boat! Let me know if you do anything that helps with the leg/butt area!
-
Thanks Danny that's great advice

It's not just about what I'm eating, I'm happy with that (apart from the snack bars and lunch choices) it's also about portion sizes. Advice with that would be great. I'm moving out this year, so if I can understand this better by then, then I'll get the food shopping right first time.

I'd rather cut back than change my allowance to make it higher as having read a ton of posts on it, people are eating way less carbs than I am! (and they have similar goals)
-
No but that's a good idea! What sort of things do you eat for lunch?
-
For dinner I always have 70g of carbs (whether it be rice/pasta/noodles) with 35g veg and 50-100g meat and a sauce. Are there too many carbs in there?
-
For lunch I'd love to have chicken salad, but I eat what my Mum buys and can't afford my own food - making it tricky
-
Mine are set to 35% carbs, 35g% protein & 30% fat. I hardly touch the fat and protein, but consume endless carbs :\
-
I find cutting carbs to be a REAL struggle, I eat nearly 200g a day :(
-
I'm similar to you! Although I don't want to go lower than 17-18% BF as for me I think that'll be healthier :)
-
Thanks guys, I'll try and maintain 120lbs and focus on strength as well as cardio now :)
-
Ok I'll do that - thanks :)
-
So what kind of things do you do for each muscle and how often?
-
Yes my gym does have all that - as I said a few comments up I started doing this on Saturday, two days a week for now but will increase as I get used to it :)
-
I add 1tsp of whey to it, any more than that and it turns horrible!
-
I think that focussing on body composition is the best option for me in that case! Is that achievable with 1800 calories a day?
-
Motivation #1, all those Instagram girls who look amazing. A bad source I know, but it works. Motivation #2, dressing room mirrors (especially the double mirrors), seeing all angles of yourself in those is enough motivation to last me a life time haha.
-
Ah found it! I've done that and it's changed my protein to 158g a day... seems loads for 35%?
-
I can't find where to edit it?
-
Thank you :) What sort of resistance workouts would you recommend?
