I'm sure it's been asked, and I know I posted something earlier that was ignored, but I'll try again anyway....if you think that you have over 20 lbs to lose how did you manage to become overweight (if you truly are) if you cannot even eat a 500 calorie meal? Just seems very off to me....what was your diet prior to this…

If you're really that tired that you're putting children's lives at risk I think you need to see a doctor instead of worrying about the caffeine/chemicals from 1 diet soda.

fantastic suggestions! :)

Can you open your diary so we can see where you're starting? :) Also, a good thing would be to make a meal in bulk and portion it out for the week. Skinnytaste.com and Cookinglight.com have a lot of great recipes.

I think what makes this even MORE difficult to justify is that you seem to exercise a lot, as well. And, from your pictures it doesn't look like you can have that much to lose- definitely concerning that you are doing more damage to yourself than good, and although in other posts you've talked about how much you've lost…

ya know, asking her what TYPE of cake she likes instead of bombing the feed with pages of recipes may be a smarter choice.

Why not just post the link instead of posting a ridiculously long recipe?

In my opinion a mug cake is good- just as it is, a messy looking (but nice, personal sized) mug cake. To me it would ultimately be the same size as having a cupcake, so if you want your mom to decorate only a cake then that is not the way to go. As for the low cal recipes- read the reviews on Cooking Light and…

umm, why does your profile say you're 23? Kinda fishy post if you can't even get your age correct.

air popped popcorn with olive oil :)

If you save the calories (or not) then a few drinks every once and a while won't hurt you....unless your liver really needs "saving from damage".....

red wine and a quiet night in here. :)

Thank you! :)

30 day shred, pt 2 is now 1.99 to rent for 30 days on youtube- can't find it anywhere to use for free. :/

I enjoy both, but when you have the ability to work out at home it helps cut out another excuse not to exercise :)

You're welcome! You really can make anything healthy.... desserts, comfort foods, there are lots of recipes that can work for you and will become a staple on your journey :) Good luck!!

skinnytaste.com eatingwell.com cookinglight.com all of these sites list calorie counts, offer meals that are only made with a few ingredients and pretty much anyone can find something they like. Get your parents to realize your journey, maybe start cooking together as a family and then eating the meal…

It'll probably be best to start cooking more than worrying as much about restaurant calories- you are then in more control of what your portions are, what goes into your food, etc. I know it can be difficult depending on your work/whatever schedule, but in order to really see a difference it is probably best. Also, if time…

I always get stuck next to the person who, after seeing there are many more machines around, decide to get on to the one next to me and start/continue to talk on their cell phones, sometimes loudly. The last time this happened she spent about 25 minutes total on the treadmill but was talking/standing on the sides of the…

I'm sorry, but there is no way to candy coat someone who is almost 400 lbs, ("Well Nourished") Shame on his doctor for trying to do so. Look for websites that make healthier comfort foods (Like Skinnytaste and Cooking light) and start from there- portion control and healthy substitutions can only go so far, but will…

add lemon, lime, or mint- look up recipes for water infusions, and as much as I sometimes use crystal light try to avoid them when you break your diet soda habit (hopefully you are trying to), they have the same ingredients as diet soda and the chemicals are not the healthiest for you.…

"Basically in a relationship?" If he doesn't want to commit how does that equal almost a relationship? A man who wants to be with you will be with you, no excuses. Speaking from experience, take control of your life and your goals before you put so much energy into someone else, life is too short to not fully embrace and…

I am a fast walker and a very slow runner- Can walk at 4.5-4.6 without problem (sometimes 4.7) but will tend to run around 5.0-5.2 when and if I do (not the biggest fan of running). Also, my speed on the treadmill and my speed outdoors tends to be pretty close to the same, so I guess the treadmills I'm using are pretty…

How long ago did this happen? Are you sure it only happened once (and she decided to leave her disgusting underwear around this last time)? And who's to say he's REALLY given up drinking if this is all still new? Really, I'd be very cautious, in the end he probably isn't worth it.

ugh, i just started feeling this way Saturday night and it's gotten gradually worse over the last 2 days (definitely didn't help that I completed a 7k walk in 25 degree weather yesterday, haha). Lungs are definitely not in tip top shape and my head is all sinusy and hurts a lot- all I feel like doing is sleeping (and don't…

http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/roasted_broccoli/ Of course you can use less of the oil/cheese if you'd like, I roast broccoli and other vegis all the time and use a little olive oil spray and spices before I roast them. So yummy.

33 year old, 5 foot 2, and about 20-30 lbs to lose to be in a place I haven't been in a long time. New friends are always welcomed!
