I'm new; pre-op for VS WLS. Have to keep a food journal for 4 months. Surgery: VS 1st appt weight: 285 Current weight: 271.6 Highest weight: 295 Lowest weight: 145 Goal weight: 155 Tentative Surgery date: April 2020 Any helpful tips from WLS veterans appreciated.

I also have PCOS. It does make it more difficult--but success is possible. That it takes so long to lose a dang pound makes me much less likely to let that pound climb back on due to being careless with tracking my food, etc. Thanks for posting!

I've been "skinny" and I've been overweight, and I've been on the road between the two. At every point I've encountered the Brain Cell Challenged and The Clueless. There is no escaping them, but you can ignore them. (Though often I've succumbed to the temptation to respond with a snappy comeback or two) And unfriend them.
