  • I'm 5"3 152 witha resting HR less than 60. I noticed that my intensity rate and how hard I'm pushing don't seem to change regardless of if I'm doing a short HIIT workout or longer "EZ" workout. I just work that hard for longer onthe EZ workouts! Sounds like your exertion level is about the same as well....

  • I did the tool and it said my resting BMR is 1358, plus 500 for BF would give me 1858. This would explain why it took me almost a month to lose 1.5 pounds-- I was only about 150 calories under BMR so it would take 23 days to lose one pound!

  • A tip I learned when doing Turbo Jam was to always make sure to pick up my feet slightly when pivoting when I'm doing this workout on carpet. The problem for me was that my knees were pivoting without my toes moving- hence knee pain.
