I love brownies, chocolate ice cream, wine and fried fish. Being a New Orleanian, my fish gotta have some crunch. I have learned how to bake, grill and saute it though. I just love it breaded with hot sauce. Mmmmm

I have been trying for 9 months to lose weight. I haven't lost any, but I. haven't gained any either. I count calories, but I am not making a dent. I'm over 40 and don't know what else to do. :neutral:

I am finding it so difficult to lose weight now. I'm 45 at 184 pounds. I joined a gym 9 months ago. Although, I haven't gained any weight, I haven't lost any either. I count calories and try to exercise 4 days a week. I don't understand why it's not giving me results.

Fast food salads are prepackaged. They just charge you more because they add processed chicken. You can go to the supermarket and buy salad kits and add your own chicken. Much more affordable and probably better for you. Easy to do the night before. Just try it and see how you feel.

If you must snack, eat fruit or nuts. If you do something 30 days in a row, it will become habit. Discipline yourself to do it. I am making myself eat a big salad everyday, but Popeyes be calling me. Smothered cabbage with picked meat. It's delicious and low in calories. 2 cups is only 119 calories. I made a big pot and have eaten it all week. Plus it makes you regular :p

I include my wine into my daily caloric intake. If I am going out for drinks, I just exercise more. It was easier for me to give up chocolate and ice cream than my wine. So you are not alone.

I just finished day 4 today. It really does get easier as you go. I did it last year but stopped in the middle of level 2. Not this time. I WILL complete this hard *kitten* work out.

I stopped sodas, juices and coffee. I added more fruits and vegetables to my life and it's just so much better. I drink a lot more water now. Honestly, I don't miss the sodas. Occasionally, I will have a small glass of juice or a cup of decaf. All things in moderation.

Cook a pot of green or purple cabbage with some turkey sausage. Very tasty, healthy and filling. If you want more, add some baked yams for a really southern meal.

Vodka and tonic with a double twist of lime or vodka and tonic with cucumber slices. Both are very refreshing. About 110 calories each.

I have big legs. Whenever I lose weight, my legs slim up. Jogging or brisk walking will help. Also jumping jacks, butt kicks and jumping rope will cause you to lose weight evenly, thus your legs will trim down.
