  • This leaves some details out eating better can mean a lot of things. So did you eat a healthier diet, cut calories, or some combination? Second you say you half listened so did you listen and lose weight or no? Now for some advice to take as you will lowering salt can help with this not saying it will and there is a limit…
  • Its likely water weight. Doms are painful in more ways than one and if you sprain something just don't look at the scale for a few days. Swear my weight went up 5 lbs in a day the time I sprained my knees.
  • There's some good apps for it I like zenlabs myself for all of my thus far unsuccessful attempts. I have another one scheduled for may B) lol. It's not the app it's me I'm asthmatic and get really bad shin splints.
  • Both are good but it's mostly finding something you enjoy and sticking to it. Mind I hate sit ups and crunches but I'll do them for my mma class as I enjoy the rest.
  • My shoulders triceps and sides hate me but my kicks are more accurate as are my punches and I will master that hip escape soon. I've determined weight loss is to be treated as a side effect and if I can wear an A3 belt instead of A5 by the time I get half way thru the current program then great if not we'll I've at least…
  • My doc says for me personally bmi is a joke but I'm very well endowed and broad shouldered enough to pull off the shoulder pad trend without shoulder pads. 130 is healthy on bmi but I look top heavy at 140 and kinda sick last time.
  • Get fitted properly. Shin splints stink. I have plans for a new attempt in a few months when I've been fitted and my mma classes aren't kicking my butt quite as much.
  • Give walking a shot every little bit helps for starters. Afterwards maybe a beginner body weight or a class of some kind Zumba martial arts yoga.
  • I just started mma with an emphasis on bjj and kempo striking.
  • Well of your willing to go a bit shorter give strike shorts a try. Mine stop just above the knee and there is a slit up to about mid thigh on the outside. Very loose and comfortable.
  • At 5'1 my doc told me 140 ish was good for me but I'm a little bit top heavy and that goes no where.
  • Browning hamburger meat is pretty much place in skillet flip and scrape occasionally when its brown through out drain in colander (rinse if you like) then if you wanna make spaghetti or something with it put back in skillet and dump the sauce over. Proceed as normal. This also applies to ground turkey though the colors may…
  • So at this point my old vans or my boots are a better option until new shoes become feasible.
  • Which is why I asked for stretches. I know the solution but its not feasible right now so something to at least ease the tightness is what I'm looking for.
  • Shouldn't be strength I do some bodyweight training to help with that emphasis on lower body since I'm not supposed to put a lot of weight on one shoulder. I hit midfoot, sing along with my music while I'm going along, and don't bounce much (I'm fairly large busted and don't wear a normal bra for running without any…
  • Arm bands annoy me honestly I can't even tolerate a tight tshirt when I'm jogging. And the reason I'm asking recommendations is broke college kids don't have a lot to spend and want to be sure these things won't break after a few uses and/or washes.
  • I picked up a couple of danskin camis, these were originally to be worn under a white button up god I hate that color on me, and tried one for walking and OMG so comfy now to stop doing this in jeans but lord I need something with pockets and jeans are the only pants I have with pockets.
  • Bout with bronchitis knocked me out a year or so ago. That, my recently diagnosed exercise induced asthma becoming worse, then school, and a full time job just kept me down till recently. Now that I'm not wheezing my way thru it I'd like to actually complete it and maybe move on to 10k. This being said maybe getting a gym…
  • There is always beginner bodyweight circuits this one is fairly easy to modify: nerdfitness.com/blog/2009/12/09/beginner-body-weight-workout-burn-fat-build-muscle/
  • I've got plans for doing this but I've got exercise induced asthma and want to be sure my body is capable of handling each step of the program.
  • I'm trying zen labs this go round love the interface and while I pull my playlist from my distance tracker it has that too.
  • Theres this compressed air stuff called pet corrector that causes dogs to back up
  • I'm doing couch to 5k and discovered I like it more when I'm not wheezing and apparently I underpronate. So first day back I had to stop part way through week 1 day 1 I'm not quite in good enough shape for it but I broke a 15 min mile and I couldn't even do that in high school so remember it could be worse. Good luck with…
  • I accepted back in middle school, also known as the last time I could wear a sports bra, that I jiggle A LOT and just wear underwire and tighten down the straps on a normal bra. That being said I think longing of just using an ace bandage but there prolly wouldn't be enough. *sigh* :s
  • You can also monitor your blood pressure by buying a small wrist strap blood pressure monitor. They are fairly accurate. Mine gets monitored because its always on the low side unless I've been taking my ADHD medications.
  • I'd eat at least 1200 but likely more if I'm feeling bad I'd eat a bit more.
  • Your still growing hun you need to talk to your doctor about your diet not us.
  • http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2009/12/09/beginner-body-weight-workout-burn-fat-build-muscle/ I'm using this one with incline push-ups once I hit 4 rounds I'm taking my push-ups off the porch rail onto a lawn chair and adding weights to the ones I can with some increase to the plank timers.
  • Took it, as topamax, for migraines a few years back would get rid of the migraine for about 6-8 hours which was nice. Problem was the migraine came back even worse once it wore off. Otherwise I had no side effects, not that I took it for very long the migraine returning worse than before ended that one quickly.
  • No problem. And welcome to the rebellion.
