I have a Before and During (still chasing that After) for you. Before: Dec 2013 - probably about 14 stone (~195lbs) During: Jan 2015 - just under 12 stone (~162 lbs)

May you have better luck than I. I got the call no one wants after any job interviews/applications.

It's been good. I slacked a bit on Tues and Wed (job hunting stuff) in terms of exercise but I'm making that up over today and tomorrow. And at least my weight is the same as pre-Halloween, even with all the mini Hershey's I ate.

16 weeks doesn't seem bad to me.

I don't really have any favorite workouts, mainly because I'm just getting started with really working out. I've been walking on the treadmill (almost) every day for the last few weeks, mainly because I'm not in shape enough to run. I try to get in 2 miles and over the last six weeks or so I've actually cut my mile time…

That's great! I'm nowhere near v-stomach and yesterday I got three "you're so skinny" comments. Feels amazing when people comment on your hard work, huh?

Rita Benavidez. If I can have a body half as nice as hers and that can do even a fraction of what she can do, I'll consider myself a success.

I'm in! I weighed in on Halloween so I'll use that for Nov 1. SW: 193 CW: 166.7 GW: 160.5 (the halfway point on my total loss) by Dec 1 Weigh-in Dates: 11/1: 166.7 11/8: 11/15: 11/22: 11/29: 12/1: Total loss for Nov/Total loss for 2014:

Stats Height: 5'3" SW: 193 lbs CW: 166.7 lbs GW: 136 lbs [UGW: 128 lbs] Nov 12th will be 8 months of working on this. Mostly trying to work on lowering body fat percentage and trim the waistline.

Hi everyone! I joined MFP in March and I've lost 26 lbs since then. Now I'm looking to "go big or go home" and move beyond the slow-and-steady losses. I'm just under 40 lbs from my goal. I really want to cut down the body fat percentage (probably in the 20-23% range, I have no clue what I am now but I know it's not…

Hi! I'm Amanda. 23 y/o. 5'3. (Well 5'2.75" but give me that little bit) SW: 193lbs CW: 166.7lbs GW: 136lbs (could bump it more, but for now that's good)

Height: 5'3"/160cm Weight: 166.7lbs/75.6kg Body Fat: Unknown; I'll ballpark it around the low 30s Thighs: 23" at the widest point Calves: L: 15" at the widest; R: 15.5" at the widest (I need to work on not favoring one leg) Hoping to get down to 21.5"/22" for thighs and 14/14.5" for calves (provided I can get the calves…

Hey! I'm in the mid 160s now (started at 193 back in March). I was happy with the nice and slow pace because it's been easy to not gain it all back, but now I wanna kick it into gear to lose the last ~40. Hoping I'll be at least within 15lbs by next summer.

Hi everyone! I hope this works... I'd love a buddy to one-on-one with. (Not to say I don't love all the friends I've made on MFP otherwise.) I'm Amanda. 23y/o. California. 5'3. (well - 5'2.75 but I round) SW: 193 lbs/ 87.6 kgs (at least) CW: 168 lbs/ ~76 kgs GW: 136 lbs/ 61.7 kgs (thinking of even bumping down to 128/58.1…

This thread is great. Bump-bump!

Does anyone here do any strength-training/heavy-lifting? I'm needing a little assistance in maneuvering that strange land.

I have found my people! Hello everyone! 23. 5'3 shrimpy shrimp. SW: in the 190s. CW: 168-ish? (depending on the time of day goes between 167.5 and 168.2) Down 25 lbs in about 8 months. GW: between 128-136. Loooooooove Supernatural. (Dean girl but I'll cut anyone who hurts Sam or Cas.) Also love GOT and LOTR. Wonder Woman…

You are not alone there. Last time I had a guy lift me, I know for a fact he weighed less than me and I made him put me down immediately because I was so scared I'd hurt him.

A girl after my own heart... I know exactly how you feel about the clothes and the boots. I've lost about an inch off my calves so I'm closer. And for the sake of being on-topic, my goals are:* single digit clothes sizes (almost there, my size 8s don't look so daunting anymore, which is great considering I started out…

Is it too late to join? This sounds great and I'm already in something similar for one of the groups I'm a member of on here. (Started a few weeks ago, the group must lose a combined 92lbs in the 92 days remaining in 2014.)
-
Good news: I weighed in at 167.8 lbs/76.1 kgs today. :)
-
This sounds awesome. I'm down to join (already lost 25- have between 32-40 to go, 32 is the min to be in healthy BMI and 40 the lowest weight I'd like). How do I join?
-
This thread is almost perfect for me. I'm 5'3. And when I started back in March I was 193. After some bumpy losses I'm down to a smidge over 168- officially out of Obese I. :) Hoping to end up in the 130s, maybe high 120s.

Oh I have a few of these: - getting to shop in regular sections of the mall not the fat girl section (esp wide calf shoes) - Wanna look better than I ever did in HS as a big finger to those who never gave me the time of day - I want a guy to be able to scoop me up like in those movies without breaking the poor guy's…

I'm 23 and finally decided enough is enough after graduating university last winter. (Some bad pictures at a Christmas party...) 5'3. SW: 193 lbs/87.6 kgs (maybe more, but that's what I weighed in at when I started this). CW: 168.3 lbs/76.4 KGS GW: somewhere between 128-136 lbs/58-61.7 kgs -- at least to 136 though

Thanks everyone. I guess I got psyched out from some of the more "intense" pictures and horror stories one hears about "well I lost 20 lbs but it was all boob". (That seems to be the one place I haven't made a dent.) I'm definitely going to look into where to start and what to do as a newb. A

Guess I was just mentally comparing them to some MMA fighters?
