I've never heard of that before, does it affect your fertility? When I was a teen they were so heavy, I used to have horrible cramps and eating everything in sight. As I got older they got better, especially when I lost 50 lbs before getting pregnant. Now they are horrible again. I sat up this morning in bed to get my…

You look great!

Thanks for the tip, Samntha! I think I'll finish the last two work outs Tuesday and Thursday this week. I'm feeling like crap today so I'm bailing on working out. Ever since having my daughter I get horrible periods like I did when I was a teenager. I feel heavy in my stomach, sluggish, cranky, and hungry. Today is also…

Sorry for the drive by post, but just want to say I'm so excited to be almost done stage 1! Two more work outs left :) I'm seeing muscle in my legs and arms and it is awesome! I spent a good chunk of this morning flexing in front of our microwave, haha. Nervous about stage 2 though. It looks a lot longer and I'm going to…

I work out at home and use my phone as a timer for the 60 seconds. I actually go on FB on my phone in between sets :P haha. I'll walk/pace while doing it though. Other times I'll have a sip of water or write down my progress.

Tell him to make his own meals then, since that is what you will be cooking with ;)

I get like this as well, it is tough. The best advice I have is to not keep any of that bad food around you. My mom recently visited and brought over chocolate, and this is the first time I've been bad while PMSing because I don't keep stuff like this in my house.

You need to change your focus from how much or how quickly you are losing to just living a healthy life. Focus on eating well and getting some exercise. Eventually your body will go along with it and you will start losing and keep it off. It is a lifestyle change, not a diet.

I've had success with bio oil. I used it in the past and my stretch marks went from purple to white, now I've had a baby 8 months ago and gotten new stretch marks and they have started lightening up since using bio oil again.

Shots are no fun! Even though she does well, I hate having to hold her down while they do it. I feel so evil! Ugh, I feel lazy. I got so into the groove of lifting again that missing two work outs makes me feel like such a couch potato. Since my husband is out of town, my MIL is picking me up to help me grocery shop with…

jennie, I love that picture! haha I missed my work out day Wednesday because I had to empty the rooms for the floor guys, spent Thursday hiding in my room with my daughter while they worked, and missed my work out today as they finished up. But I've been watching what I eat and all that lifting and moving things was a bit…

Haha! On my jar of pickles it says a serving is 3/4 of a pickle, haha.

Yeah, it's not fun :frown: When the first tooth came in she screamed for an hour and a half straight and I thought something was seriouslly wrong with her. She's gotten 5 this month alone! Hopefully she is feeling better soon though, and we can get back to our routine. With a husband that works out of town my lifting time…

She used to be really good with noises, especially since slept in a bassinet next to our bed for the first five months. We would watch TV in bed after she had fallen asleep so she was used to it. Ever since moving to the crib she isn't as good. Sometimes the Sleep Sheep helps, it plays ocean, rain, forest, and river…

I'm half way through stage 1 and have lost about 4 inches off my chest, waist, and hips but have been bouncing around the same 2 lbs. The measurements prove that the truth isn't always in the scale. I know it's hard, you want to see it go down because we are trained to focus on the number. Either weigh yourself and know it…

Daisy, I think aqua aerobics would be a fun way to break up weight lifting days :) As long as you feel fine and like you are not overdoing it, why not? I don't always work out on off days, but when I do it's usually a walk. Ugh, I'm missing a work out for the first time. I got a call today from a floor guy that my landlord…

After my first work out I ended up taking two days off instead of one, I was in that much pain! Getting down on the floor to play with my daughter made me cry. I just took some tylenol and ibuprofen, drank a lot of water, and stretched and moved around as much as I could to loosen my muscles up. Sometimes just taking a…

I lost 15 lbs from doing Atkins for a month and kept it off for quite awhile even on a normal diet, I only did Atkins to get to my goal weight and stopped at 146 lbs because I was happy. My husband got laid off and all we could afford was Mr. Noodle and that's when I started gaining it back (and then I got pregnant).…

I believe with ruptures you would feel them, and cysts can be painful. Do you have pain along with the bloating? I thought I had a cyst because of pain in my ovary while TTC (not ovulatory), but nothing was found on the ultrasound and it got better after I got pregnant.

I take a Omega 3 fish oil pill once in awhile, and a B vitamin every day. I find the B vitamin helps with my energy. I have an extra meal on work out days (M-W-F) and that's a protein shake after my work out. I like them, keeps me full and it doesn't hurt to get that extra protein in.

Good job on your results!

Put in your headphones and just try to ignore the stares. That's the only advice I have  (For the record, I'm nervous about running in public, I think people think 'Look at that fat girl trying to lose weight!')

Thanks guys :)

Since I've been bouncing around the same two lbs for the last three weeks, I decided to check my measurements this morning. I've lost a half inch off my chest, 2 inches off my waist, and 1inch off my hips. All other measurements are pretty much the same or a very small change. More proof that it's not just about the number…

Good job! I was very sore after the first day too, I ended up taking an extra day off before the next work out. It was hard getting down on the floor to play with my daughter with my thighs screaming in pain! But it does get better :) I like to talk long walks and push the stroller, but I save those for off days. I find…

Damn it, typed up a whole post and it got eaten. Here we go again, finished work out B4 of Stage 1 today  Half way through! I do find I'm getting bored with this stage though, as I did last time I did NROL4W. The nice thing is seeing myself getting stronger, being able to increase weights. I'm doing much better with…

Kassie, I think I remember you from 3fatchicks, I recognize your username and profile picture. I've seen your posts for awhile now and you have come very far. I remember you having trouble with buffets when you were first starting out and it looks like you have overcome so much to be the healthier person you want to be. I…

I was just thinking, 'If planking burns 100 calories a minute, no one would ever do any other exercise again. Except for those that like working out, of course'

Thanks for the welcome guys :) joannezuk, I know what you mean about hitting 'goal' weight but wanting to do more. Two years ago I got to 146 lbs and even though people told me I was starting to get too skinny, I really wanted to keep lifting and get stronger. I wanted to see muscles and feel strong and bad *kitten*! I…

That was a good read :) I remember being naive like that, years ago. If only I had known better.
