Met online 13 years ago. It was not love at first type, but it was a friendship that grew into more than either of us expected. He moved to the US from Germany to be with me. We've been married 4 years now. Might I add, he's the best part of me :-)

A friend can get made, but they come around when they settle down and realize that you're coming from a place of caring.

I'm allergic to most fresh fruits and vegetables, celery being one of the bigger culprits of nausea and throat on fire...so not worth it, but flax-seed oil and fiber helps with blood pressure too.

yeah, my grandmother once said that i looked like I lost weight when in actuality I was about 50lbs heavier the last time she saw me. I think people just like to think of things to say for conversation, not really meaning a word.

Yeah, at the end of the school year my ring flew off several times when I talked with my hands. So much so the kids knew to watch out for it!

NO! LOL ...well I guess one could. Everyone sees dating differently I guess, but the above would be my thought process. I don't like wasting time on things that don't have a possibility of going where I want them to.

For the people who are like, "Well it's cool now cause you're thinner and he likes you", no one ever wants to think that someone felt they weren't good enough. I mean, it's different to guess, example: "Is this guy with me because I'm hot" and you'll never know unless something changes and you're not (to him) anymore, but…

Yeah, flirty, no touchy. You already know he's the type that would bail because of something superficial, so don't give him that kind of chance.

My sister has zero concept of size. She accused me of wearing her pajama pants once. She's a size 1 and I'm a size 24. Good luck with me squeezing in her pajama pants. LOL Hopefully once day I'll have a story like yours where I don't have to look at her like she's insane!

Yeah, I just consider myself to be a fairly rational person. I'm married to a hottie patottie, pretty much by anyone's standards, so I'm not sure why it'd matter to me what other men think. I'm in a position of my life right now that I would say is fabulous: I'll be a department chair this coming school year, parents…

Although the Dr's Office may have had the "right" weight, how much you lost should be what's important, and if you've been weighing yourself on a different scale, pay attention to how that one has gone down. You've still lost the same, it's just the number you started with may have been different if you had used the Dr's…

My name is Calesta and it means fairest, and most beautiful...lol. Although I'm not "fair", I'll take it.

Eating right is so much of the bigger picture in the stage you're in right now. Just watching your calories, even without exercise will help you lose. As far as working out, do as much as you can. Don't overdo it, but also make sure you push yourself just a little more everyday. I weigh more than you do and I can do high…

I lose in my legs first, but yeah, breasts are fat so if you keep working out, they will go down. Mine haven't gone anywhere, yet. Some folks they go down a lot, some they go down a little.

I'm glad I found this thread. I wish I would wake up one morning and be one of those people who loved running and can not live without it. I can't stand exercise. Maybe I would if I didn't sweat, become tired, have achy muscles, or become out of breath. However, since that's never going to happen, I guess I'll just have to…

woo hoo! great job!

I can't wait to lose my belly. I'm pretty nice looking when my stomach isn't saying hello to everyone. LOL

Yeah, PCOS here too, and I can gain up to 10, but I also skip 2-3 months and then go an entire month. My best advice is to continue to work through it. I know it's hard because I'm there right now (my weight is up and at a complete standstill), and I get so depressed that I feel like I can't be bothered, but I have my…

This is what I was thinking, but I've heard people say that they've stopped losing weight because their body got used to a type of workout so they had to switch it up. That made me a bit confused there. I do weigh less, and I am taking that into account with calories burned, but I was just making sure that being "used to"…

Amazing ! Great job! I know it feels good doesn't it?!

Well, you have to think about what place your missing her is coming from. A guy friend told me a long time ago that men are not women's close friend unless they think there is an opportunity for more in the future. I used to think he was crazy, but as soon as I got married, my guy friends started dropping like flies. Which…
