Do any of you guys use a heart-rate monitor when exercising? I was looking at the options at a fitness store the other day but i don't wanna spend $30 for something that isn't really necessary.

I totally did just this. . . I always knew that I had gained the "freshman 20" in college but when i'm now 5 years out of college and my weight has crept up to and over what i weighed then i knew it was time. I will never see 150 on the scale again.

Day 5 Level 1 DONE!! And i almost decided to take a day off this morning. . . woke up with a sinus headache and was feeling sore. But i thought: "F That! It's only a 20 minute video!" I just finished Day 3 (at Level 1) of the 30 Day Shred today (and managed to go for a short run afterwards as a "cool down"!). I'm amazed at how sore i am from only a couple days of the workouts!!
