I think my computer (or the site) has gone nuts, ...in any case.... in the few short days I have upped my Cals I have lost 4 lbs -- Wow! I guess everyone does have a magic number and mine was not 1200! I am not working with a cal base of 1400-1500 and it seems to be working! Thanks all!

I have the Wii fitness coach -- you will definetly burn calories! You pick an area to work on (upper, lower, full cardio, yoga) you can program it from 15 to 75 minutes and it can incorporate balance balls, hand wights, step if you have them into the program but you DO NOT need them. I agree about the scale -- I need to stay off of it every day! I am going to drive myself nuts! and no I have not measured, but I might do that this weekend. I just need a little ray of progress!

Been feeling the same way the past few days -- I find that really hot sala and some baked Lays do the trick for an extra snack! and with meals, Grilled sweet potatoes are wonderful, fall comfort food that is filling and so yummy!

I agree! I found them too last week (Sam's Club). I made little pizzas with them! Little cheese, pinapple, balck olives - was great! but I do suggest lightly toasting them before adding sauce and toppings.

I was poking around the internet, looking for more suggestions, and found the tutorial on Wed MD (http://www.webmd.com/diet/diet-health-check/default.htm ), takes about 5 min to complete and they calculate a base of 1400 calories, not 1200, to work from for me (plus whatever I would burn from exercise). Thanks all for suggestions! I am steadly increasing my excercise as possible (in PT for a rupture ligament in my foot, so I have to do really low impact for now, but still makeing it work!)
