Eat em! You'll be fine, just don't make it a habit :)

I posted a similar topic a few weeks ago. The "fancy" scale at my gym supposedly measures body fat and mine was 31.2%. I was appalled! Apparently those things are notoriously inaccurate and the only way to get a good reading is being dunked in the tank? I feel your pain, though, I just want to know the truth!

I love this. I would say what it cost me is simply living "less than" for a good decade. Feeling inadequate, mostly.

I just get whatever brand is cheapest at Target at the time. I've tried several and never had any "fishy burps" that I've heard of. Ew.

If you aren't big on cooking (like me!), I would stock up on Boca and Morningstar items (chik nuggets, patties, veg burgers, etc). I never have a problem getting enough protein and I don't even think about it. Morningstar makes some divine fake riblets. They also make what they call "crumbles", which is their meatless…

 Nice work!!! And cute dress, too!

This has nothing to do with this topic, but I have your sweater! :)

I've found that when you start running a somewhat considerable distance, it feels a lot better (for me, at least) to give the body rest to avoid injury. I try to do a (once again, for me) long run once a week (5-7 miles), a few moderate runs (3-4 miles), and lift or do some sort of circuit training on my "off" days. I find…

You will definitely be more toned. And no, you should not be gaining any weight, even if you do build some muscle. Good luck, sounds like a lot of fun!!

Hotrodgirl - Thin mints! Hell yeah, I used to eat a sleeve of those for breakfast everyday until they were gone :) That was when I was a twig in high school, though. An entire stuffed crust 5-cheese DiGiorno pizza. With ranch for dipping.

I don't know exactly what you guys are doing, but I want to join!!! How?
-
Thanks, everyone! I'm going to buy one tonight! :)

Is there generally a sign that says "spaghetti squash" or...? Dumb, I know.
-
I have no idea. I feel your frustration...I'm sort of in the same boat. Maybe we've reached our "happy weight"?
-
RE: Yep, just keep working out and burning that fat off. It has to come off from all over, you can't just burn it from one place. I wish you could, because I'm going to have no butt when all is said and done. I know, my butt is totally leaving!!! :(

If you're body is changing and you can see that, it is likely that you are building muscle. Don't be discouraged...keep at it! You will see :)
