Nothing will prepare you for running like running. Find a running store and go there. They will fit you in a shoe according to your pronation and gait. This is huge! I always would get shin splints and knee pain until I started wearing the proper shoes, then it all went away. Don't let people tell you, "you are to big to…

I think your macros look pretty good. That takes care of 70-80% of your process. The remaining comes from working out. Lift heavy to tone and and don't forget the cardio. It also helps to have people hold you accountable either on here or at home. Keep up the good work.

Congratulations! What an inspiration. I've been plateauing lately and making adjustments to try and break through. Watching you and rowdyff progress have been one of the main reasons I keep going day in and day out! I hope you enjoy your new lease on life!

Check out Runnersworld.com they have great articles on starting out. There is one there that will teach you to go from walking to running for 30 min. in 6 or 8 weeks. I've done it and can tell you it works. If your still having problems you my need to supplement with your iron or vitamin B to get your body to produce more…

I have the Garmin Forerunner 405 CX and it works with BodyMedia. After I upload my workout from my watch I have the option to upload the data to BodyMedia. It then transfers all the HRM info into a screen on your activity manager. Hope this helps.

Another tip (again depending on how cold) would be to take it nice and slow. First because once winter comes you don't want to slip on ice. The second reason being, you need to take slow breaths. If you breath to fast your upper airway won't have enough time to warm the outside air you breath in to body temperature. This…

Thanks. Just out of curiosity, how long did it take you to get over the feeling of hunger at that many calories (or did you)? When you got to your goal did you scale to more of a BMR for your height and weight for maintenance. Again, thank you very much for the information, and for setting the example and the bar!

Congratulations, what an amazing accomplishment! If you don't mind me asking how did you determine your calorie intake?
