I hope ya enjoy em! Considering the number and amount of pests, pathogens, fungus and diseases that love peaches as much as we do that is pretty difficult to do..

I would rather have the sugar. (its not evil) I just eat a serving and enjoy it. All about moderation

I live in peach orchard heaven here in upstate South Carolina. Because i see how much they are sprayed to ensure that the peaches that make it to market are "pretty" I peel them. I am not a clean eating /organic only person, however since i see it being sprayed.... I just feel better. Ymmv. Now that i am thinking about…

Then cut back on pasta and potatoes. Don't cut them out.

*some* people do... Most people don't. I like carbs. In fact, I love carbs. They are not the enemy. Portions are. As is quoted, you get a huge water loss kick when your drop / reduce them. I regularly ride my bike for two-three hours at a time. Carbs are a important part of my ability to do that.

This! X10. I am almost looking forward to getting back in my class. I usually ride my bike in 3 times per week (30 miles round trip) and I am typically to busy to just eat for the heck of it.... Feel free to friend me

Wow....so much misinformation in there it's painful to read. However answer me this, if sugar is so "bad" for you, why is it the only source of energy your brain and your mitochondria in each of your cells use to produce ATP? Then there is that whole fruit thing... When we were still swinging from the trees fruit was a…

All true. I was think more in the line of sit bones and surrounding area. You are correct if it is you reproductive parts you need to get it fixed ASAP before damage is done. (numbness, bruising, friction etc)

There is no one easy gear. You want the one that lets you spin the pedals and not "mash" them. In other words you want to be able to keep a comfortable rpm that is sustainable. As far as the crotch.... Ride more and make sure your bike fits you. Your "tender bits" literally have to toughen up. If you want to go for…

I am training for a double century in September. Granted, I get to do it in 100 mile chunks over 2 days... So... My goal for August is 600 miles with an average of 16-18 mph Aug 1 - 27 miles

This.... The calorie estimates in MFP are crazy ridiculous. Heck, most heart rate monitors overestimate by a fair amount as well.

Everybody is different... I do not eat them. I burned them for a reason, as long as I can still do 30-40 miles on a bike without bonking, I plan to stay inside of my targeted daily goal. This said, if I am planning a 50-100 mile ride I do pre-fuel heavily and eat like a king on the bike. Do what makes YOU comfortable and…

I drink them right after I work out. I figure of all times my body can use it, its then.

I weigh almost every day... its interesting to me to see the number swing up and down, however over time they are trending down. Its that trend that I want to see. I know that my day to day weighs are more likely due to water. ie. if I am down a pound in one day I know I should be drinking more water. If I make a big…

I do... I weigh before a hard bike ride and after to make sure that I am drinking enough. Even with as much as I do take in while riding, I still am normally a pound or two low in water that I need to make up. That said, the only weigh in I count is the one on Monday Morning.

Nothing like my normal daily fare in the air force... I remember lots of midnight omlets, hamburgers, fries, and ice cream. Unless you can live like that for the rest of your life,I would not put my self through that

This.... Coffee is vital. If I do not consume it in the morning I will have my first "cardio event" of the day as I go medieval on anyone around me. Burns calories, but draws an awful lot of attention. On a serious not, when I bike commute to work I generally only have a single cup with cream and sugar to wake up and then…

Drink water? I found that the old saying that "hunger is quite often thirst" to be true. While I do get WAAAY more calories because I am a 6'2" male compared to my 4'11" wife, I still had to battle the "hungry" all the time feeling. Also, you may need to listen to your body and give it some quality calories above and…

5-6 days per week. 1 day at 50 ish miles the others tend to be in the 20-25 mile range. Rest days are vital, however rather than scheduling them in i try to listen to my legs. Sometimes all i need to do is go easy, othrr times i need to stay off the bike. All depends....

Good carb / Bad carb.... Phbbbbttt! Whatever. Unless you have a specific health condition / concern "carbs" are an important part of your diet. (example...simply put, your brain could care less if you eat fat or protein ever again as it uses sugar for fuel) Eat healthy portions of pasta, potatoes, etc and you will be fine.…
