Yikes. I would ask your doctor about that. Are you supposed to (allowed to?) eat back your calories? I would say you need to eat at least 900 on those days.
-
That was meant in a jovial tone. :D

Thank you! I googled it after no replies. Just thought I'd get better information here. This is the same article I read. LOL.

She's had weightloss surgery and has calorie limitations.

Do you have access to a fridge and microwave? Pack things that can be heated? I know it's hard work, but when you cook a meal with meat, save some for lunch the next day. KWIM? It's just better than jerky, is all. If you can't do something reheated, get tuna. DH takes tuna for lunch quite often and I chop veggies for him…

Bad is a relative term. In general though to get proper nutrients you need to eat whole foods. Bad depends on how serious you are about your health. Personally I wouldn't eat them on a regular basis. Everything is fine in moderation. But an egg white and banana for breakfast would be better. You can always chop onion and…

I have them, too. Mine are all over. I wouldn't think anything of it, except mabye "glad those are scars and not fresh". Hang in there. Best of luck.

Can you eat chicken? Tuna? Beans, Nuts? There are better ways to get protein. Jerky isn't a good option, IMO.
-
Also, skip the eating out. Try to eat whole foods, meaning closest to it's original form. Avoid lots of processed meals like the jimmy dean breakfast stuff....
-
I'd cut out the jerky, eat more veggies and add more protein.

I sent you a pm and a friend request. <3

Agree 100% I'm over here like, WHAT?! Lies.

I find that I eat healthier if I have food prepped. I cut all my veggies and refrigerate them so I can grab them when I feel like I could eat the entire kitchen. That's how you avoid the ease of fast food. If you don't have a spare half hour in your week to do this, you aren't using your time well.

If you can afford to spend $55 on crap you can afford to eat healthy. I have an idea, lose the expensive gym membership and work out at home. Get yourself a workout video and focus on nutrition first. Or go to a place that is cheaper. Your boyfriend isn't supportive. He suggested chicken strips knowing you are working…

This post depresses me. My thighs are 25" each. In other words, enormous. I would kill for small thighs. My calves, those are big, too. Haven't measured them, though. *le sigh* :(

This is heartbreaking. Your value isn't measured by what you can accomplish, do, how you look, etc. Your value and beauty is about who you are as a person. Cherish yourself, even when others don't. And definitely don't look to anyone like your Uncle for your worth. You are so much more than that. <3

Tea is how I get through the day. When I'm hungry in the afternoon I drink 32 ounces of water and then reward myself for consuming half of my water with a cup of hot tea. Takes the hunger away in an instant. Such a good tip!
-
I have never heard of either. Do you get them at the grocery store or a health food store? I am obsessed with alfredo - that's been the hardest part of eating healthy.
-
For the record, OP, you are not ugly. But remember that beauty isn't only on the outside - it comes from within. I know that's cliche but it is TRUE.
-
I second this! My face gets fat and that is when I truly feel unattractive. Only a bit over a week in and my face looks a tiny bit thinner already. I can't stand having double chins and all that nonsense.
-
I think I'm pretty. I just need to lose weight so I can get my confidence back. I think confidence is half of beauty, honestly.
-
That is a HUGE loss in five months. You look great. How many pounds did you lose?
-
Another thing is accountability with yourself. I notice your diary is empty. If you had a number that you can't go over - you will feel more guilty if you do. Nobody wants that. For me seeing my limit makes me get more creative with how I use it and helps me to avoid over eating or bingeing.
-
When I get hungry it's typically between lunch and dinner, around 4pm. I drink four eight ounce glasses of water and then "treat" myself to a cup of green tea. For some reason hot tea feels like "eating" to me because it's hot. Maybe try that, it tricks my mind so maybe it will trick yours. You aren't hungry for food, you…

Now I have to ask, why are you adamantly against a 1200-1500 calorie diet?
-
I eat 1200. I am 5'9" and 174. My goal is 135. The key for me is sticking with it, I started last week and the first few days were hell. It has gotten easier. I have figured out how to use my calories wisely, eating things that are more filling vs. something high in calories for a very small portion. For me it was about…

I am so jealous that she eats so well. I fell into the trap of, "she doesn't eat, so give her something she will eat" and now she isn't open to much variety. I got her to eat some celery and cucumber today and that felt like a huge victory. I guess monkey see, monkey do. We are eating really well these days so hopefully…

^ Buy in bulk at Costco or Sams - not so bad. Cheaper than a daily trip to Starbucks.

Your two year old doesn't like peanut butter and jelly sandwiches? There for a while that seems like all my two year old would eat. Does she like oatmeal? Mix some peanut butter into that. It will melt, but the flavor will still be there.
