1) I eat 1630ish, plus my exercise calories. 2) I log most everyday unless it's some kind of special occasion where logging food is really difficult. 3) I'm not the best at commenting on stuff, but I try! and; 4) I'm 40 pounds down and only have about 20 more to lose, but I understand the struggle! I've been there.

New Rules of Lifting for Women or Starting Strength are good books to start with. I'd personally recommend NROLFW- it goes over nutrition, cardio, and weights (everything you asked about). As for deadlifts, I'm not sure what to tell you. They're kind of a good lift to have. And you may quickly out-lift the 80 pound limit…

I don't really have any suggestions that haven't been already mentioned, but I want to just tell you that it's really inspiring that you are trying to get healthy, even with everything that is going on in your life. I know I wouldn't be able to.

Well, I'm out. Starting weight was 166.2 and my final weight was 167.5. Gained! Ugh.

Start with a huge plate of salad. Then once you're done, wait about 10-20 minutes before deciding if you want to get something else. You may feel that you're too full to get more food, or you may only want a small portion of something else.
