@kizanne2 @charmmeth I’ve always been taught growing up that full fat is high in saturated fat so therefore bad for your heart/cholesterol. So I was wondering if because you are getting rid of carbs then the full fat is ok. Like the mix of carbs and full fat are bad for you, but no carbs and full fat is ok. If that makes…

I am a SAHM so usually running to the grocery store things like that.

@janejellyroll yes this makes sense. Thanks.

Thank you all so much. I probably do need to talk to a therapist as suggested. As far as TikTok there are actually a lot of professionals using it to get themselves out there and direct you to their website/business.

This is exactly what I struggle with! I get so focused on the numbers I end up driving myself crazy. But if I don’t track my calories then I have no idea if I’m in a deficit.

It’s giving me plenty of calories for the day I just find when I hit that number I want to keep eating. It’s a love hate relationship (counting calories). I guess I could try to search for dietitians who promote calorie counting and get their perspective. I guess most of them focus on intuitive eating that I saw.

1600 calories to lose 1 lb a week. I’m female 50 years old and 5’4. I love the idea of figuring out my maintenance calories and at least try not to go over that. Since you all have been so very helpful I’m just putting myself out there but I just get in my head sometimes. I feel like I’m always looking for the “right way”…

All good ideas! It has me at 1,600 calories.

Thank you all so much!! Gives me hope 🙌🏻

I guess because I have lost 20 pounds so far on WW and haven't stuck with MFP long enough to see if it does? :|

Thank you all for your replies, I feel much better! Excited about this switch from WW to MFP! :)

I have done weight watchers for many years so I am just getting used to calories/carbs, etc.
-
Costco sells 18 pk of Premier Protein shakes. Really low in sugar and high in protein.

Thanks guys! :)

I have heard of so many people who eat a no carb diet of meats/cheese/beans/greens etc. that is high in calories and they still lose weight. Never watching their calorie intake, just their carb intake.
-
That makes me sad

Was this Kelhett or Mudhustler? Just curious...I used to follow them on connect.
-
I will be curious to see if any other weight watchers members jump ship like I did...I guess only time will tell if the no point food list works for people or not. However, I know they had many current members try the program "behind the scenes" for quite a few months now before it launched. I just know I would get really…

I am so happy to find this thread!!

Yes she is 10% owner of the company

I am sure WW will be changing it again in a year....they change about every two years. :|
-
They still have points. I was at 30 points a day but with the new program it dropped to 23 points a day to get you to eat more of the foods on the list. So you kind of do both now...if you eat anything not on the list you have to count the points for that food not on the list. You also get weekly points of 42 for "extra's"…
-
Oh geez, I certainly wouldn't survive only eating off the list!! LOL! The list is why I left! :| How do I friend you? I'm a little rusty on here....
-
Hi There - You can't really do any old programs once they change it because everything is done on the WW app now. I guess I could still do it and be a -7 everyday but that would mess with my head seeing the - everyday. WW has changed so much if you haven't been on it in 10 years you would be in for a major change going…

How do we become friends on here?! B)

THANK YOU all so much for your replies and help!

I am leaving WW as well because of the new freestyle program. Feel free to add me as a friend! Maybe we could get a WW group together to support each other on here.
