Down 2 pounds this week! I now weight 147 pounds.

You know your man more than anyone who is making comments against him. He may be someone who is often disrespectful to you, or he may be an good man who made the mistake in expressing his concern about your weight without realizing how much it would affect you. It's always best to express your opinion fully about ANYTHING…

My suggestion: increase your physical activity level. I reset my calorie burn goal to 5,000 a week. You don't have to aim that high, but you can set a higher goal for yourself. If you tend to have a cheat day, limit those because you will be fighting weight that you regained, and you really want to put the fight into…

Your diary looks great, however I am wondering if you can try to divide your calories more? For example, 300-400 calories for each meal, or have your highest calories for breakfast, so you are not eating too much calories at night time? I have read that consuming 400 calories each meal really control appetite and decreases…

Yes, yes, yes!!! I can certainly relate. My sister, who is also losing weight, has a strategy: feed them what you don't typically like to eat while dieting. For example, mac + cheese, instead of chinese foood because we have a weakness for chinese foods.

Lol! I love this. I recently felt like I was tortured by the delicious smell of not-so-good, but unbelievably taste-so-good foods. Dieting is hard. Once we reach our goals, and we continue to come across these foods, we still have to control ourselves because the weight can return so quickly, as if you've never made any…

I can make suggestions if I am able to see your diary. When you are in FOODS, go to SETTINGS, and change your diary to PUBLIC.

Alright!! Keep it up.

You can change your sodium. I did, and I had set mine to 1,000 mg/day. You go into GOALS, then CHANGE GOALS, then CUSTOM, and you make your change. To keep sodium low, I bake/cook a lot of my foods. Avoid regular grain products, such as cereal and bread unless you are chosing their low-sodium options. My entire breakfast…

Congrats!! The same is happening to me, too. And I am wearing jeans I haven't worn since college!

There's no magic way. However, being on this website I have learned it's helpful to: watch your sodium (keep it as low as you can); bake or cook your own food and avoid process foods because of the sodium in them. If you can cook on your days off and freeze your food, you are on a good track. Vary your total calories, and…

149 pounds. No change from last week.

149 pounds, same as last week. Actually, I had regained 4 pounds during the three day weekend because of series of events, including a birthday party, and I lost it all during the week. Now, I will bring my own food whenever we are eating at a restaurant. I want to always put the effort into battling new pounds lost, not…

Had regained 4 pounds last weekend over a series of event, including a birthday party, and then lost all 4 pounds during the week to bring me back to where I left of: 149 pounds. No change. Healthy options in restaurants never work for me because of the amount of sodium in them. The time has come for me to limit my weight…

That's great loss!

You look great! How much weight did you lose?

I'm not able to look at your food diary, but one major lesson I learned since being on MFP is that sodium and sugar are your biggest culprits. Since I have kept my sodium intake really low, I haven't had much trouble losing weight. You may have to avoid prepackaged foods, and prepare your own so you can control the sodium…

Your food diary looks great! Although your sodium is low, I am wondering if you are interested in lowering it even more. By keeping mine under 1,000 for the entire day, I am finding that I lose weight faster, and I have increased thirst. The pancake mix can be made from scratch in order to avoid additional sodium. When the…

Suggestion: watch your sodium intake. I didn't think I can bring mine below 1,000 mg, but when I finally managed to, the weight has been melting off. Unfortunately I regain some weight during the weekend from eating at a restaurant even for one day (eating healthier options in the restaurant never works for me), and that's…

I used to enjoy the videos and would last for a while, but I have been really bored since I have returned to them. Now, I take small mental breaks during the workout if I have to, and then I go back into it. It's working, because I am starting to last longer. If you try this method, you have to trust yourself that you will…

I found that since I have limited sodium (now I aim for less than 1000 mg/day), miracles started happening. It's like I am taking a weight loss pill, but I'm not.

I was also tempted to put my weight after Christmas / New Years. If I did, it would have looked like I lost 7 pounds by now. I started the challenge putting in my lowest weight because I want to push myself to lose from that and become closer to my final goal weight. Sometimes, I would wish I had put the higher weight as…
