Wednesday wish -- I wish I could reply to everyone! There's so much activity on here it's awesome. Thursday truth -- I keep having to remind myself that weight loss won't happen over night. I need to be patient to see if what I'm doing is working or not. As for food today, it was semi good, minus the chocolates and the…

@RobinsEgg and @mountmary84 -- It sounds like you both have medical issues but I love how you both have persevered! I wish you guys well and hope things look up from here. Tuesday -- Goals My goals are the same as they have ever been. Eat right, lose the same amount of weight, and exercise more. I didn't get to walk today…

@beckyboo8504 and @susan2396 -- Though I don't have children, I can relate to both your stories. Dating the wrong people can have major long-lasting implications in life. I haven't dated in years because of distrust I have developed against relationships. I feel lonely at times too, but it doesn't outweigh the fear I feel…

Just for today -- 1/4/2016: Eat right and exercise one day at a time. 1) Walk at least 1.5 miles during my lunch break. 2) Walk again when I go home for at least 2 miles. 3) Pack a lunch and snack for work. 4) Log everything.

1/3/2016 -- 1.34 miles It's better than nothing considering today was a rest day.

Sunday - Sharing Hello, I'm new to this thread and I think it's a great idea so far! I starred it. :) I don't know where my sudden motivation to lose weight came from, but all of a sudden I am determined to lose weight. This time around feels so different....I can't explain it but in the past, I'd start logging and…

There's no point in cheating. I'm pretty motivated to lose weight and I'm not going to sabotage myself with crappy junk foods. There is always healthier alternatives that are just as delicious as the actual craving. If it gets to the point where I am craving a burger, I would try for a healthier option like a salmon burger…

My appetite changes so much right before my period and during. It sucks so much because it throws everything off and I crave all the junk foods....and the bloating, omg the bloating just makes me feel so fat and like I'll never lose weight. My period came 2 days after I started MFP, so I picked a mighty fine week to start…

You just post on this thread. There's nothing else to join.

I've never been a fan of counting calories either, but if I listened to my "internal calorie counter," I would never stop eating or gaining weight. I need to track everything I eat so I can interpret my body's signals correctly. Basically, I log and eat my meals, then wait about 15 minutes to see how I feel...hungry or…

Good job! What an amazing story.

Count me in! :-)

Today I walked about 8,000 steps. 4 miles.

I'm having the same issue too. It doesn't matter whether I exercise or not, I feel hungry all the time. My guess is that I need to eat more, especially on days that I exercise. If you are exercising (whether it be cardio or weight lifting) you need to replenish your body. Cals=energy after all.

I walked 2 miles in 30 minutes today. Tomorrow I want to shoot for 3 miles.

Stronglifts 5x5. That's if weight lifting is your thing. My brother has been using it and he loves it. It works great and now I want to try it.

Nope, not on the app. I'm still waiting for that update (if it will ever come).

So, since it doesn't matter what I eat, I should be able to lose wight as long as there's a deficit, even if I'm living off of french fries, soda, and cake? Yeah, right. Dude, you're not going to lose weight by eating ****ty junk food all day even if you're staying within your calorie goal. Obviously we need the…

You look healthy, curvy, and beautiful! <3

There was a time in my life where I was so dirt poor and broke off my *kitten*, that I couldn't afford anything else other than spaghetti and rice. So for a few months, I LITERALLY lived off of spaghetti and rice. Occasionally I would be able to afford eggs and sausage, so that's what i ate for breakfast, but lunch and…

I know what that feels like. I have pretty bad anxiety and at my worst, I'd feel exhausted and like life is just too much effort to live. I really had to drag myself out of bed to go exercising. But let me tell you, it gets easier. All the exercising helps regulate hormones. Now, I find myself happier during the day, sleep…
