Yup, getting an error while searching for foods, something to do with the server.

I love tofu! I always found it tasted delicious when I let it drain for a bit, then use a napkin to pat it dry. I always cubed my tofu and would make a marinade (mostly soy sauce or teriyaki sauce) and let the tofu soak it up over night in the fridge. Then pan fry it and eat over rice and veggies, or even over a salad. I…

Last night I made a salmon pesto pasta dish with veggies. It was high in calories but so delicious! It was exactly what I needed after a highly active day.

It sounds like you need to bump up your calories. 2000 cals or less is not enough for someone who is active at their job. You said you are on your feet 8 hours a day 5 days a week. So maybe you're just under eating. I used to cut calories too severely a long time ago and it caused me to get very dizzy too with painful…

Wednesday Wish: I wish I can just drop all this weight! At least I've been able to maintain my weight but I'm still at my all time high (just 2 pounds shy). Thank you to those who replied to my last post forever ago (I miss you all and this thread!), I've still been hiking but not regularly. I average about 2 times a week.…

I'm 5' 5.5" and trying to lose 30-50 pounds. I'm always looking for friends and motivation.

I stopped using MFP for a few months and ended up gaining weight. I pretend like it doesn't bother me, but it does. I don't know why I stopped using it other than just feeling fed up that I was only maintaining despite my best efforts. I need to find a different workout/diet regimen....and stay consistent. Consistency is…

@Nikion901 - I'm soar and stiff too. Sit-ups and crunches are so tough but I am taking it slow. The squats and the plank though are what have me super soar. Today I did everything again except for the plank. Thursday, 3/10/16 - Today was a pretty good food and exercise day. I managed to stay within my macros, have a 500…

Just a little update: My roommate is on a health kick so we've been motivating each other to walk and strength train. I'm starting with the plank, sit-ups, and squats for now... Eventually I want to do more exercises that I can't do right now. Baby steps. I hope all is well with everyone! -Sarah

Happy hump-day everyone! I managed to stay mostly within my macros and under my calorie goal, but the foods I've been eating aren't the healthiest. I'm at a point where I'm just trying to finish what I have because it's what I bought and I don't want to throw anything out. Once it's time for me to grocery shop…

No, I haven't tried it but it looks fun. How does one get started?

It's been such a long time since posting here. I've kept tracking my foods and walking but I haven't lost anything yet. :( I think it's because my walking isn't consistent enough. I need to make it more of a routine, and when I eat, I make sure to eat enough and stay within my macros. I won't give up!

Get back into drawing.

Monday Check in (physically) -- Today was a weird food day for me. I didn't have much of an appetite because my jaw was achy, like every time I opened my mouth to take a bite of food and chew, it hurt. I couldn't even finish my yogurt and blueberries this morning. For lunch I had soup, and then for dinner I could finally…

Tuesday Goals -- I weigh myself tomorrow but I have a feeling I maintained my weight. If that ends up being the case, I want to lower my calories just a little and make sure I stay at a 500 calorie deficit. I've been tracking everything, staying away from sweets (except for a chocolate chip cookie today), and making sure…

Just for today.....eat more protein.

@eleanorcoonce -- It sounds like you're doing great to me! Just don't give up, remember you always have support here. :)

Saturday Success -- Today was productive! I did all my errands in one go. Lets see, today I did my laundry, cleaned the bird's cage, bought bird food, updated my resume for USAjobs, and went to the public library to check out GRE prep books. I've decided to attempt studying for the GRE in hopes of going to Grad school.…

Just wanted to say a quick good morning to everyone where ever you may be! I'm getting ready for work, TGIF! I didn't get a chance to go on the conputer last night because I had to buy a new tire. It was flat due to a giant nail in the side of it. So that was fun. My dog Tipsy isn't doing so well either. Age is wearing on…

Wow, amazing! Good job!

Good luck, you can add me if you want!

Remember to breath! Sometimes I just need to breath and let things go instead of letting them work me up.

Good news...........I lost two pounds!!! YAY! I have to keep doing what I'm doing and make more of an effort to walk. Walking is getting impossible just because of the sheer lack of time I have at work. Most of the time I get so busy that time flies and the day is over before I can even blink. Sometimes I just eat my lunch…

It depends what kind of exercise I do on any given day. Depending on the exercise, I will eat back a portion of the calories as long as I keep a deficit of anywhere between 300 and 500 calories. It's slow weight loss but seems to work. I've lost 1 pound in two weeks. Lately, I've fallen off a little so I need to get back…

Remember to take my multivitamin for once! I always forget about it.

@massey987 -- Hey, that's awesome! Good job!

@Nikion901 -- That's amazing that you can walk 1.5 miles in 15 minutes! I find myself pushing just to make 1 mile in 15 minutes. Usually on average I walk the mile anywhere between 16 and 17 minutes. The weather has been so nice during the days lately. I walked again during my lunch today and did 1.4 miles in 25…
