Grew up in Beccles but left in 1992 after school.

Congratulations - great news

My personal approach would be a good breakfast about 2h before, then fluids only whilst training. I know a few people who keep little bags of things like gummy bears in their gear bags in case they want some sugar.

We're doing a 1200-1600 session Saturday. Plenty of fluids to hand, protein rich sandwich (maybe chicken or tuna) and how about one of those fantastic looking donuts? ;-)

Try the African or Caribbean Export Guinness - awesome stuff!

OK beer lovers, enjoy this with me... This is a bottle of Fuller's Vintage 2002 (Golden Jubilee) - it had been laid down for 10 years now! Sipping it tonight (355cal/pint!) it is rich with treacle/molasses flavour and fruity notes of plum. It has a heavy mouth feel and at at least 8.5% it hits home! I have bottles from…

Card carrying member of CAMRA for 12 years here  I love darker, malty beers; porters/stouts and Belgian beers. A *good* lager goes down well (think Czech/Bavarian). Currently have some Rauchbier and a bottle of Samichlaus on order :drinker:

I'm using "Your Gym" which is the app that goes with You Are Your Own Gym.

Did you measure the poop to be certain?

For me there's no such thing as a "cheat" day. Last night I decided I wanted a takeaway Pizza, just like I used to with a couple of nice sides and some wine. I just logged it all and yes, I went over calories (by about 500), but... a) That was yesterday and it's the only time I've done it since I started in May b) Averaged…

From what I understand, Imi originally used the belt system, then later on started using patches (P, G, E). I'm with an IKMF affiliated club and we use P, G, E as do KMG (which came from an internal split with the organisation that is now IKMF) As for predominantly European, can't honestly say, but I know there are quite a…

I've seen a Michael Hunt (he quickly pointed out that he is NOT called Mike) Another one was a Mr Forskin

Loved New Zealand - the two islands could almost be completely different countries! Prague is a beautiful city. Going to Israel in May - can't wait

Two words - Mini Babybel!

Non Scale Victory - those gains/improvements that don't show on the scales, like your clothes getting too big

This says it best!

Don't be nervous about the master-class, it will be great! Since starting in May I have been to: Knife Seminar with Tamir Gilad (E4), Weapons of Opportunity with Shlomi Moyal (E2) and Third Party Protection with Israel Tamir (E3) and they were all great! Being a part of the largest club in the Midlands helps as we tend to…

The scales have been kind to me, but NSVs make it all seem real. I'm still wearing my old jeans despite losing over 10 inches off my waist as being able to just undo my belt and letting them fall off instantly reminds me how far I've come. Huge congratulations on your victories

Passed my P1 on Saturday, tested by Avshalom Dahan

Krav Maga (IKMF) - just passed my Level 1 Practitioner on Saturday  Off to Israel in May for a week's intensive training with the Global Instructor Team

I measure out the milk and put it in a thermos flask with a couple of ice cubes and put the powder in the shaker. Then mix it up post workout - simples!

Congrats, that's great going!
