Good day everyone, and sorry i have not been aroudn for a while. Back injury started end of May, and after that i have had 3,5 weeks vacation from work, in which i have not worked out at all. Have my equipment with me today, and gonna workout for first time in 6 weeks again (i know i am gonna regret it tomorrow and sunday)…

Thank you Sandy. Considering this was my first major tournament this season, and actually since 2017, i should be happy with the result. And no, the Championships are over now

Well this didn't go very well last sunday. Where i played the qualifies a very good game, as bad it was last sunday with only a 189 average over 6 games. I went from 8th place to 10th place (out of the 14 qualifiers) so still top 10 i guess, but i made terrible shots. I was not feeling well the day before already, and was…

i feel you brother

Well no workouts for me this week, i do not want to risk any injury since i am still in the top14 for finals of the National Championship (currently at 8th place with 9 more people to play) So crossing fingers i am making it to the finals on the singles event. On doubles we are at 4th place, where there will be 7 going to…

Nice work Mike! And good to hear your son is lifting as well, must feel good for you that he likes it

haha, i wont Chris! If i could finish in third place, i would be very happy already. Since the number 1 and 2 are far ahead of me (+100) But, you never know...

It's on the road, with some elevation changes, i believe on day 3 there is a part that goes up and down. But since it's Netherlands, its still considered all very flat i guess Here is a link to the website, if you are interested in reading into it: https://www.4daagse.nl/en I hope i can get a ticket next year, since there…

Oh, got some other exciting news, well sort of. Every year, we have over here in Netherlands the Nijmeegse Wandelvierdaagse. It's a walking event, one of the biggest on the plantet, and has 47K participants. I have always said, that i wanna participate before i turn 40, and since i am turning 40 next year (in november) i…

Ah got ya! Thought you were already at those reps. But you will get there not long from now i just know it And you bet i am gonna gif it if i reach 364 lbs for deadlift (or squat, whatever comes first) Right now on the road back to where i was before my time off. But since i was having DOMS for 5 day's after my last squat…

Hey Sam! Would love to hang out with this great guy
-
Damn, those are some nice nubmers for reps Chris. You are doing awesome, and it shows. My magical number will be 364lbs I hope to lift that someday for squats and deadlifts It's what i used to weigh at my highest, so would be cool to be able to deadlift that weight at my current weight of 232lbs, which i hope to get down…

Glad to hear that brother! It is probably not for everyone, and also not allowed in every gym, but its cheaper than lifting shoes, and basically gives the same stability. Just not the heels elevated, but there you have blocks for

Nice work Chris!

So, they got a mag row handle (if that is the correct name) in my gym now. So much better to do lat pulldowns, since the grip is so much better. And even better for my normal rows, since i have my hands rotated, and in a more natural position
-
That is so awesome! Proud of you
-
Yes, but that is easy, since i live in Netherlands, takes 1 hour drive for me to reach Germany But i have visited about 24 countries over the years due to vacations, furthest away was Bali, Indonesia HYE swam with Orca's?

I feel so sorry for people actually paying for this app, because it has so many bugs. Bugs MFP didn't have when i started here in 2012. MFP lost it's way over the years, and now...taking away one of the few things people still lke about this app. The Newsfeed. Keeping track with your friends on your friendslist, but nooooo…

This made me chuckle
-
Not really a meme, but i know a lot of people are upset about the new change on MFP of deleting newsfeed:

Thank you Chris. I just need to remind myself that it takes time to build up strenght again and being away from lifting for 4 weeks is gonna mess with my strenght. Definatly feeling it today though, it's walking funny thursday today

Okey, first session done in the gym again after 4 weeks no gym and only 2 home workouts and recreative cycling And i am humbled... Was planning on doing 4 sets of 6-8 on Bench, DL and Squats at 60% of my 1RM (which clearly is not my 1RM i am capable off right now) Ended up doing Bench at 70% for 3 sets of 8/9/8 Deadlift at…
-
Ment to day this for my plan: Plan today is squat, bench, deadlift for 4 sets of 6-8 at 60% Going to up 5 kg on squat and deadlift every next session and 2.5kg on bench and see where i strand. I think i am just going to do that for a while before starting my 7 week program again. During summer i am alone in office for a…
