Hiya folks! How is everyone doing? I am back from my short break/vacation, and ready to start my program again. Tomorrow evening is first one, with Squats and Bench session. Since i only have time to workout twice this week (being away is fun, but works gets to a hold, and now i have to catch up again) i am doing squat and…

Thanks Sandy, i kinda needed to hear this. As for the trip, yeah it's a time of rest. I always love it there, so peacefull, no cars allowed (except residents) and just be in nature

I hate that i have been away in the gym for so long with my injury. It's hard to get back in the routine, and when i do go to the gym, i am so sore. Went monday for bench press and some accessory, and i am still sore. My current routine is that i started my compound lifts with 60% or 65% and do 4 sets of 8 minimum and when…

Seriously Sandy...that voice message. HUGE smile on my face, hearing you like this
-
FREAKING AWESOME!!!!!! I did a happy dance for you Sandy (no did not gif it)

@KickassAmazon76 For her pushing herself so much and making such awesome progress She is my hero!
-
This kinda does sound like ego lifting, and ultimately i think it will stop your progression much sooner, than when using smaller plates. I have even 0.125kg plates in my bag, just so i can make progression on some exercises. Because even how little that may seem, it's still progress. And it does add up the long run…

So, seems i can gradually start building back up my strenght again. Did not much today, because i do wanna slowly build it up And wanted to see how my deadlifts would feel today. So after my warmup sets i did 4x8 at 60% Then 3xF for tricep push downs and 3xF for cable rows That was it, so like i said, not much, but i…

Can't wait till Melon Season Sandy 😇 PS those socks and shirt to match with it...love it!

Glad to read everyone here is working hard on themself, and finding out new things I have been really quiet lately over here. As some may have read, i was having back problems again. It's going a lot better right now, but still definatly not 100% Besides of that, i had been really busy last 2 weeks as well with…
-
Well, so new to the lifting the way you are doing now. No gym newbie, but appraoching it differently this time And sounds like a solid plan my friend! Looking forward to your progression
-
NO! You got beaten by the Amazing Amazon Sandy! And don't worry about it, she is just hella strong. Out of this world! On serious note, never compare yourself to others, only to yourself to see if you make progression. You only recently started, right? So 80kg is pretty good

Nice work Sandy

This would be me, if only my gym would be open by then. I am a morning person
-
Yes. exactly what you 2 said here. I was always told by trainers that i should squat deeper... F* YOU! I can't physically get any deeper, if i could, i would, because i know it would put more stress on the muscles, so it would grow faster with same load. About the quarter squats, i saw it coming by on a feed once, and all…
-
@nossmf I get what you are saying, i feel the same with my squats, but i know i can't physically get any deeper than i do right now because of my hip mobility. I mean, with or without weight, the depth stay's the same (actually with weight a little deeper because it pushes me down) Same goes for you with your shoulder. You…

Well, if you can't get the full ROM anymore, that means it's muscle fatique, otherwise you would be able to go endlessly. I always do them till faillure for 3 sets at a certrain weight. And once i hit first set for 10 reps or more, i upp the weight for next week
-
Dude, if you post your lift video's, we would be in awe, and nothing i do would even come close to your numbers. That's why i stopped comparing myself with others, i do me, and you do you. I know i am stronger than i used to be, that's my comparison. The me from a few years ago
-
Yep!
-
HOLY *kitten*! 5 plates...Man you are awesome! My goal is 400lbs in next 2 years
-
That is a terrible test, because it say's absolutely nothing. Low heartrate doesn't mean good cardio. It's about having a pretty even cardio, and how fast it goes back to "normal" once the cardio is taken away
-
Yeah, my working heartrate has always been high, been that ever since i started tracking it back in 2010 when i did cycling I goes high fast, but also back to normal pretty fast But during my rope jumping it went up to 177 peak which is almost as high as i used to have it on my spinning classes back in the day Really like…
-
Yeah that is true. Some people think i am nuts for liking squats so much more than benchpress (i'd rather do 3x a week squats then 1x benchpress) But since i do wanna be stronger overall, i do my benchpress as well 🤣 And i understand the incline vs flat when it comes to the shoulder
-
Back in the gym after 1 week off. Took it easy, and no squats yet, so did upper body workouts. Benchpress 5x5 @ 83% Tried some new stuff i saw on IG from Nick Benekaris (bigbenchas...follow him if you do not already...Thanks for the tip @KickassAmazon76 ) By having a different setup for my grip, my wrist was not bending…

You are one rare breed Chris... Kudo's that you do them and have no problem in doing them, because most people get injured when doing dips, let alone doing weighted dips
-
AWESOME!
-
Totally agree. Dips are bad on the joints, and for tricep strenght/growth not even your best choice. Unless you are a gymnast, you should avid doing these
-
Yes, yes, and HELL YES! Always bro crush on my man Dave
-
Nice work Mike, that is one hell of a workout!
