Each weight training is 6 sets( a set of 12 reps, 10,8,6, 12, 12) for each area increasing the amount of weight each set..lowering it for…

I have used body for life for a number of years. The recommendations are doing 5 days of 30 minutes cardio or weights..perhaps a 6th day of something easier or another activity perhaps recreation..golf tennis. then one day off of both exercise and diet. This is good both mentally and physically. I also take one week off of…

Thanks for the formula. I have to say MFP was very close. Formula: 2078 MFP: 1980 Guess I have a little more cushion in my goal number.

I have been doing the body for life program for quite awhile and an "off" day is recommended. Including from exercise. Taking a week off from workouts every 90 days is also suggested. To think about 1. An off day is mentally relaxing..Most of us obsess too much every day about what we eat how we measure it and about our…

I found it works well if I eat a lot or drink a lot late at nite, I go back to a day the week before where I was under my goal and put it there. What the heck, its the same month. Folks...It doesn't matter what you put down or where you put it down....SCALE DON'T LIE!...GEEZ.

you want to make sure you are not counting calories used twice. Your BMR includes your "regular activities". You should track the additional activities(exercise) you are participating in as opposed to every step you take between your couch and the bathroom which is probably included in your BMR

I would strongly recommend BFL. I have been using it for a number of years. My biggest problem has been the diet part. Hard for me to be discplined in that area. The BFL program has the right approach to it using six small meals a day. you can actually set up MFP to do that in the food goal section The exercise routine is…

There is alot of sodium..salt in diet drinks

Exercise is actually not the best means of losing weight. Think about this..which is easier? NOT eating a pizza slice with 400 calories plus fat, sodium etc or running for 30 minutes? Controlling your diet is much more effective for weight loss. BUT exercise does so much more..improves your heart strength, lung strength,…

Perhaps start using your goal weight l as your water goal. If your goal is 200 lbs drink 100oz a day. Remember to include not just water but any liquid that does not contain sweetner or other additives. This would include black coffee or tea. but watch the caffine with these, Use as much water as possible to meet this goal.

Most recommendations I've seen are to take 1/2 your body weight and drink that many oz per day. For example If you weigh 150 lbs you should drink 75 oz of water a day. That provides a pretty good ball park figure to work with.

you have momentum now..keep going..and keep us updated
