  • What time do you go to bed? I will have to switch to 5am workouts when I go back to work in two weeks and I'm afraid I'll be falling asleep at 9pm.
  • I'm far from an expert, but you probably shouldn't do the sculpt training every day. Muscles need a day of rest to repair. That's why bodybuilders alternate upper/lower body lifting days.
  • I don't have a heart rate monitor, but I log mine under circuit training.
  • 135 is my goal. I am 145 now, but extremely out of shape, so I think I look bigger. I'm also apple shaped, so 145 on me gives me a 34 inch waist.
  • I just started today. About 10 years ago, I did it and stopped halfway through. I really want to make it all the way through this time and then move on to something harder I can do with my hubby like P90X or insanity. Good luck!

  • Thanks for all of the responses. I decided on Power 90 (not X, the old one) because I have an old VHS copy.
  • I feel your pain. My stomach and hips are almost the same size. I'm not sure there is much you can do except reduce overall. Even when I was a kid (i.e. VERY thin), I still had the same shape and have been pulling my pants up my whole life.
  • We have a 4 year old puggle (pug, beagle). She has a great temperament and is fabulous with my kids; she isn't the best smelling dog though...

  • I'm only trying to lose about 10lbs too. Going from 147 to 135. I know this will probably take a while... but it would be great if I could get it done before school starts in September (I'm a teacher). I didn't work out at all last week, only tracked my food, but will start this week.

  • This is my first week on MFP and I have been eating (and drinking!) too much this summer with all of the time off work. I am currently about 147 and I would like to get to 135. Since I am close to goal (I'm 5'5), it might take me a while.
