I dry rub them with a mixture of (3/4C sugar, 2T salt, 1T paprika, 1T pepper, 1T garlic powder) & let them sit in the fridge overnight with the rub on. Smoke at 250 degrees or lower; we like the lump charcoal best for maintaining temp. They take a long time... 12 hours or so. I never take them off until the internal temp…

bump sorry, no advice... i have smoked several pork butts though!

5:15am. I do workout videos in the morning M-Sat. I did skip a few lately though... I think the darker, colder mornings make it much harder to get up. I have only been an AM exerciser for about 2 1/2 months.

They do this by making their employees work /ridiculously!/ hard and only having 2-3 employees at a time in a busy store. I know from experience because my hubby works in one. The products are really good and we do alot of shopping there, but I buy my meat from a local butcher.

Oh!! lol... that sounds better. I think I might try this. Thanks for posting.

i am almost on day 60. I went from a tight 10 to an 8. My only complaint is that the workouts do get boring. You do the same 2 workouts over and over and over... you get the picture. My day 30 day results: lost 5 lbs , 1 inch off waist, hips, and each thigh. Lost 2.4 percent body fat. My arms are smaller too, but I didn't…

That seems like a lot- 600 for what's on the plate?

I was wondering this myself

5:20am. I wake up, pee, fill up my water and go right into the living room and press play(P90). I'm too busy with work, kids, and life the rest of the day. I hate getting out of bed, but once I'm up, I'm fine. I have WAYYYYYYY more energy during the day than I used to.

very inspiring, thanks for posting!

My stats are really similar to yours. I'm F/35/5'5/147 starting weight. I am also doing power 90 and I'm on day 27. I have lost 6 pounds so far, but haven't measured inches .I think you are probably eating about the right amount of calories, but if you want to check, I would read this thread and try the calculations…

5:20am M-Sat... and it's HARD to get up. Once I start though, I'm okay. I am doing power 90, and if I don't get up in the morning, I would find excuses not to exercise. After work, there is a lot going on with dinner, dishes, 2 kids, soccer/baseball practice, spend some time with my hubby, cleaning, laundry, etc... I would…

These are sooooo good. I used honey instead of the corn syrup. Nutrition info is already in the food database (140ish calories) Gobble Up granola Bars from Allrecipes. Ingredients 2 1/2 cups crispy rice cereal 2 cups quick-cooking oats 1/2 cup raisins 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup light corn syrup 1/2 cup crunchy…

Really? I make the coffee in our house this way...must be the reason my husband hasn't blinked in like 10 years. lol

30 or 40 minutes/ alternating days. I am doing the original power 90 6X a week. I am just starting though. Before last week, I didn't do any formal exercise at all. I think an hour is great!

At the chinese buffet, I would go for chicken and broccoli, string beans. Also, any combo of (non-battered) chicken and veggies...just don't eat the higher carb veg. You could probably eat the soup /broth/ too, just leave any wontons in the bowl.

Lost .9 this week. 3 lbs down total.

Good for you! All of that hard work is paying off :)

I suggest only taking vitamins with iron if your iron is low. I don't take them because the ones with iron make me constipated :blushing:

I lost a whopping 0.1lbs. At least it wasn't a gain :)
