I was right where you were when my son was 4 months old (currently 9 months). I was breastfeeding and expecting that great weight loss from it that everyone raves about. It just did not happen for me, I found myself hungrier now than when I was pregnant. I was struggling with finding the energy to workout and so hungry it…

I would also suggest weight training! A new routine might get you out of your mental slump, rev your metabolism, and build lean muscle (that will in turn burn more calories at rest). Good luck and congrats on your progress and dedication.

First off, you do not need skin surgery...that is just crazy! Add strength training! Maybe a gym membership and a session with a personal trainer, it could change your body and your life :)

Just keep in mind to lose 1 lb you need a 3500 calorie deficit, 2 lbs= 7000 calorie deficit. That would be 1000 a day to lose 2 lbs per week. I would stick with at least 1500 calories and maybe increase your cardio time/intensity to burn more calories :)

We got this! I live in Texas, so I fear the summer heat will be here much sooner, so I have to get moving. I am in good spirits as I went to the gym yesterday did some circuit training and the stairmaster (burned 845 calories). I am exclusively breastfeeding my son and have a goal to make it to at least a year. I did not BF my first son, so it is all new to me. I have about 50 pounds to lose and have been feeling a…

I have about 50 pounds to lose and am looking for friends who understand the difficulties while breastfeeding. I also have 2 sons and was unable to breastfeed my first, so this is all very new to me. I try to read up and research as much as possible. I have read that after 6 months your supply may naturally decrease…

Hi! I'm Steph, 28 years old and mother of two ( 2 1/2 years and 2 1/2 months). I am currently breastfeeding my son, but am new to it as I did not breastfeed my first son. I was really hoping to find a group of breastfeeding moms who were/are struggling with their weight, and know the wrench that it throws into attempting…

Thanks ladies! I know I need to relax a little and hopefully around 4 months things will get easier. Until then I will try to focus more on what I am eating and just being active. It is a little hard as I was a workout junkie before my pregnancy, 5-6 days a week for two+ hours a day. Pregnancy is hard on a body!!
