I too have a desk job. Since I started trying to lose weight this year I've been trying to get out of the office at lunchtime for about 20 mins and go for a brisk walk. I also try and use the stairs as often as possible instead of using the lift. Every little bit helps I find!

I've been yo-yo dieting for years and I find the first week to be one of the easier weeks. I've usually got a bit of motivation and by the end of it I usually lose a lot more than the average week. Its a few weeks on I find that I start to struggle, then sometimes lose the motivation completely. This is my first week back…

Starting again after having some success with MFP in 2012. Had surgery last year and I've been slowly piling on the pounds since then. Looking for some new friends- feel free to add!

I'm restarting again after a not so good 2013. In 2012 I had some success on MFP and managed to lose about 2 stone and completed Pedal for Scotland. Had a hernia operation back in September and since then I've really been piling on the pounds to the point that I'm now the heaviest I've been :( Keen now to get back on track…

Feel free to add me - I've started again and I'm determined to get my weight right down in 2013 for the sake of my health. I need to lose around 4 and a half stone in total.

Hi, I joined this site a few weeks ago and I login daily / check updates on the app on my phone and I'm slowly but surely finding some motivation from fellow members and I'm sure that by finding some new friends the same thing will happen for you. I often will comment on how I feel and I'm not afraid to be honest if I've…

For me its always been chocolate and bread. I've always had a sweet tooth.. The former I definitely cannot keep in the house because as soon as I have a bad phase its the first thing I turn to and if its a large bar of chocolate, I will eat the whole lot. It almost instantly makes me feel better inside at the time. If…

I overeat when : I'm bored, stressed, feeling down, attending events where theres lots of treats, when I dont balance my meal times well. It can be really bad sometimes and I mean really bad. Big bags of crisps, huge chocolate bars - anything that makes me feel better inside. I joined this group as I think my emotional…

SW - 215lbs Week 1 - 213.5lbs Week 2 - 213lbs Despite cycling 49 miles in the last week - the most I've EVER done in a week, half a pound lost is very disappointing :( I'm finding it hard just now due to being really busy and having to eat on the run or at the wrong times and thats making things really difficult.

Well done everyone - sorry I posted my results on the threads rather than sending in a message. Will remember to send a message next Wednesday :-s

SW: 215 CW: 213.5 :) Happy with this given the hectic week I've had, will be more focussed this week - aiming for a 3.5lb loss which would take me to the 15 Stone milestone. Have a good week everyone :)
