  • Well, I'm about to sign up and get started on it. Went to orientation last night and am scheduled for the intro class and medical eval stuff at the end of the month. I chose the Decision Free program option because I have over 100 to lose and am anxious to lose enough to get back to enjoying my old favorite activities, gym…

  • Using the word "pecker". And moon pies.
  • ...You quoted my response, questioned it, and so, clearly, I thought the continued commentary and questions regarding that was for me as well. My bad... ?
  • Yes, several years ago I used MFP in it's entirety while calorie counting, high protein, low glycemic diet in conjunction with exercise and lost 100 lbs. I was healthy, the most fit I had ever been in my life, and maintained it until the past couple of years of my 30's. I have gained a good potion back despite playing with…
  • Maybe in thigh wrestling. Is that a thing?
  • How do I find a new coach? I've googled it and looked here, but I'm not having much luck. I'm only 1 month in, and my current coach is nice and all, but she isn't much help and we don't "connect". Also, she's given me some answers that I found out from boards and asking others on this plan were probably incorrect. I'm just…
  • Nice- could be worn swimming?
  • Ooh! That one sounds like something I'd like! Might be worth the spend. :)
  • I just started this month (on the 6th)- lost 10 lbs in 10 days, 13 in 2 weeks... but now I've gained 2 back and feel like I sort of stalled out into my 3rd week. Weird. I'm pretty positive I'm exactly on plan with the lean & greens. I dunno- is that just a normal part of the process? I hope this week shows some…
  • Ok, great! I'll check those out. Thinking the Fitbit Charge HR might be enough of my criteria to be ok. Going to look harder at the Garmin since that's come up several times here. I've been looking at some sites- one that uses a bar graph visual to compare, and some that are set up like consumer reports, but I worry about…
  • Awesome, thanks Ari!
  • That's anothr question I have- some people don't sync theirs to MFP. Any reason? What do you like about the Garmin HR, that it has the HR, or are there other functions you like?
  • When I lost 100 lbs 5 years ago, I used a lot of cocoa butter products meant for pregnant women, which did help. ...Now I have to do it all over again, and I know it's going to be much worse since I've done this to my skin a second time. :( There's only so much muscle you can build and not be bulky, but like else said- it…
  • I haven't tried it with the alfredo sauce yet- just tomato or a pesto. The pepper added for spice sounds awesome! Thanks!!!
  • Private groups seem to be the way to go so as to not be bothered with these paranoid MFP policers thinking they are "busting" spam, when what they're actually doing is just bullying people with weight loss diets they don't "approve of". It's just silly and mean. I don't get it... if you don't believe in or agree with is…
  • When you click flag, you then automatically have to choose 1 of 3 options : spam, abuse, or report, or it does nothing, so no, they know it is not a "like". I do wish we had that option! :)
  • I agree! I really want to blame it on being a few years older this time, but I dunno. It's just really tough to stay on track, and the scale wasn't even budging for the longest time! Ghahhhh...
  • I will say though, it's cracking me up how many posts are getting flagged on a thread about flagging. lol ;)
  • wrestling
  • I would think many plans MFP users post about in looking for support from others using that plan could be "triggering" for SOMEONE. Still doesn't give people the right go after someone's posts or question just because they don't "approve" or like the path that person has chosen. As for all the judging and meanness, unless…
  • He kept cropping me out of his pictures.
  • It contains chemicals that overload our brains and triggers our bodies to crave it, like a drug. Like someone else said- it's a cyclical. Once you stop eating it - ANY of it - for awhile, it won't even taste the same to you. In fact, I felt that quitting smoking (after 12 years of it) and kicking junk food were eerily…
  • I'll friend you!! I'm looking for more ideas for lean & green meals, since that's the part that's left up to us to come up with. I, too, have literally been dieting my entire life. I've only been successful once (I did it on my own with learning about the glycemic index and exercise), but life happens, age changes things,…
  • Since I've searched a few similar threads today, I really just want to say that I'm confused and disappointed. I've been on MFP for a few years now, trying different plans and ratios of nutrients to lose the weight and, more importantly, maintain that loss. Recently, I married a chef, so it's extra hard now. After seeing…

After seeing the change a employee of his made, I decided to try what she did, and began Medifast this month. So far it's going great,…
