Thanks so much for the feedback! I definitely think I'm going to just drop back to the bar for a bit and focus on form.

I've compared the 5x5 squat tips to my squat video. I noticed my heels go up a few times and I am not sure if I was breathing in at the top before squatting down to keep my core tight. Please keep in mind my feet are very small (I wear kid's size shoes 5.5-6) so it looks like I'm going way past my toes with my knees but…

I have been having this same problem with the iOS app for a while... if I edit a recipe, the updated version won't save, it always gives me a sync error....

Wow -- thanks for that link! :flowerforyou: My health insurance company wasn't listed so I just picked a random one... hope that's just for data purposes. Will be ordering my ketone strips now...

I was sitting at my daughter's softball game and some woman starts telling me that she eats ice chips because that helps you lose weight as opposed to just drinking the water. Sigh. :grumble:

Me,me, me! I'm 5'1"... I live in Pflugerville, but work in south Austin, so I'm all over the place. :glasses: I'm wanting to lose quite a bit of weight, about 90 pounds. I've committed to do this, but my body hasn't followed suit yet. I need a tennis partner. (Anyone??) Anyone that sees this and wants to -- friend…

To my late teens/early 20's self: KEEP YOUR LEGS CLOSED.

Nope, I, the ultimate thread killer, have now spoken.... Thread is D.O.A. Time of death 1:12 PM CST.

Just wanted to thank y'all for making these videos! I'm new to this EM2WL thing, the videos really helped me understand what I need to do. Working on healing my metabolism right now. I'll admit, I've had to up my calories slowly, because it was a mental thing, having that "1200" calorie mark drilled into my head for so…

You just took all the fun out of it. (just kidding. It's still fun.)

No, I beat you to your own suggestion. I win.

I think you've got a great list so far ... I was going to suggest heavy whipping cream, but DUH... doesn't fit the low fat category. How about sugar free jello and cool whip free? :flowerforyou: I don't want to know the percentage of people staring at the screens with their heads cocked sideways.

Hey, everyone! I'm at work... today is my daughter's 8th birthday, and she's stuck at daycare! We had a nice day yesterday, though... celebrated her birthday early and put up the Christmas tree. Good thing I don't do black Friday shopping anyway. I'll try to stay positive and be thankful that I have a job... (pay no…

Chillax... or peeps.... DEFINITELY YOLO. I'm gonna show you yolo with my fist.

I apologize if this has already been recommended, but check out www.chocolatecoveredkatie.com She's got several recipes using quick oats, and I know one for a fact that has canned pumpkin! I think it's the pumpkin no-bakes... my daughter and boyfriend love them! (and they're pretty picky when it comes to "healthy" food)

Or say the right things... which I obviously do not. After reading back through the thread, all the talk about v-words and cake has me somewhat distracted. Back to work now!!!

You two aren't alone... I once posted my status as "Jennilyn -- where status updates and forum posts go to die." Doesn't make perfect sense, but you get the idea. It seemed every time I replied to a forum topic, the whole thing abruptly died. <Sigh>.... woe is me. :grumble: Guess there won't be any replies after this....…

because they make me feel like an oompah-loompah

I have the Ultra and I love it. I got it in June and at first I wore it to track my sleep, but then found that I wasn't really applying that data in any fashion, and I seem to be a wild sleeper, so it would often come out of the wrist holder overnight or the whole wrist thing would come off altogether (again, just because…

Yes! I had a crying spell over this just yesterday. I've been "serious" about this since the beginning of June (got my fitbit, started logging everything)... that's not to say I hadn't already done a complete overhaul of my eating habits over the last few years. So by "getting serious," I meant making "good" into "better"…

bump... bra shopping is a version of hell for me

I have no valuable input seeing as it is so early in the morning, but I have to say, with it being so early and all... when I saw "ok I am a fat chick who loves wine", my immediate thought was, "I don't remember writing a forum post!" ...........

Likewise... if you want a friend who slips up a lot and will thereby provide you the opportunity to gloat about your own successes and revel in my failures, then add me! :flowerforyou: I'm not really a failure, but I do slip up a lot. And I eat too many carbs. So in some eyes that possibly does equate to failure....

I modified a recipe I got from www.Chocolatecoveredkatie.com for chocolate chip cookie dough dip... I modified it to be 1 can great northern beans (rinsed & drained) 1 scoop chocolate protein powder (I've tried MRM dutch chocolate and Pure Protein Frosty Chocolate, both were yummy) 4 Tbsp Chocolate PB2 6 tsp coconut palm…

Lol! I'm with you! Except it was just one kid. But my body is still "ruined"... no matter what, these stretch marks aren't going anywhere.

Are you sure you're wearing footwear that provides the right support for your feet and for the exercise you're doing? Just a thought. . . I'm not sure if that can cause knee pain or not, but it's certainly something to check out, since no matter what else you try the problem will keep coming back if it's your shoes that…

Absolute favorite is Justin's Chocolate Hazelnut Butter. I get it at Target, it comes in a jar as well as squeeze packs (always keep a few in my purse :) ... the close seconds are PB & Co Dark Chocolate Dreams and Justin's Honey Peanut Butter.

@TRH --- love your smile! It's contagious. Nice eyes, too. :)

You're not crazy. Identifying your "weaknesses" per se and doing something about them does not make you crazy. One goal at a time... or at least not too many ;) While I won't deny that exercise has its benefits, I think getting your diet under control and making more of a lifestyle change of moving more throughout the day…
