You can also change your step goal from 10,000 to any particular number you want. I have a friend that has his set at 7,000 because that's a challenge for him and it motivates him more than 10,000 that he'll never reach.

I think the estimate is because most people aren't taking full strides all day. Going from the couch, around the counter to the fridge or from the toilet to the sink isn't going to be a full stride for most people.

It's really good at measuring the calories you burn in a day. With a HRM, you see how many you burn for a specific time of exercise, but with a fitbit, you can see how the rest of your day went. It also syncs up with MFP and can adjust your calories for you on here.

Insanity is better short term, but you'll pay for it with higher risk of injury and joint pain. P90X (to me) is more enjoyable, but the workouts are a lot longer. You're right, and I do. The problem is more noticeable when looking at long threads with many pictures. It would be hard to go through 10 pages of success stories and ask.

Well, it also helped me not to snack at night. I would eat from 12-8. By 8, I felt like I had done 90% of the diet, which helped me to fight the urges to snack at night. I never ate breakfast to begin with, but cutting out the snacking alone saved me 200-500 calories per day.

I think the problem occurs when you don't eat and then binge later. If that's not a problem for you, I don't think one day of eating less is going to hurt anything. You can just add it to a day later this week when you are hungry.

I'm all for eating any kind of meat and drinking any kind of milk. As a matter of fact, if I could afford it, i would probably eat steak every day. That being said, why so mean? I think they're right that we don't NEED cow products. You sound hungry.
