  • I don't stretch before I run, I just take about ten minutes to jog lightly beforehand. I like to stretch afterwards. It helps keep my muscles from tightening up after a run, helps tone, and prevents injuries. I think technically we're supposed to warm up, stretch, run and stretch after.
  • I wanted a goal weight that was realistic and achievable so that I wouldn't be discouraged by looking at a ton of weight I had to loose. I'm pretty sure if I get to my goal weight, I'll be adjusting it down a bit more!
  • Don't listen to those stupid people. If people wouldn't think I was a nut, I'd roll down my window and cheer any runner on because it's not easy to get out there and move.
