The pile of food is dwindling as I give it to friends when I go to visit or we slowly work our way through it (trying not to make a piggy of myself)... Should be gone in a couple of months! Also contacted my church as they do a food larder for those in need so will give to them what I can too.

Thanks everyone but unfortunately everything is perishable and therefore can't be taken by food banks, shelters, etc. And the people at work are mixed race / religions and the majority therefore have strict rules around what they can or can't eat... Nope. It's a simple question of calories in versus calories used. You take in more calories than you use, you put on weight. You use more calories than you take in, you lose weight. I guess people who use the 'no carbs after 6pm' or 'don't eat before bed' only see a benefit as it lowers their overall calorie intake.…

No kids, just him indoors and 2 cats (who make a mess, leave their toys everywhere and can be demanding... so not dissimilar to kids in that way, LOL).
