  • Add me! I need motivation. I need encouragement. I am pretty good at giving both as well.
  • Feel free to add me. I lost 40lbs a few years ago, gained it all back and n extra 40lbs as well. Now I have diabetes and losing weight is a must. Being a busy mom makes it hard to take time for yourself and eat right. But we got this.
  • Bedtime brownies are indeed amazing....I was just diagnosed with diabetes...no more brownies for me. *cries*

  • 1.) How old are your children and how many do you have? (share names if you wish) I have 6. Five by birth, one by adoption. They are Victoria 20, David 18, Daniel who will be 14 in less than 2 weeks, Hunter 11, Allison 6 and Donald III aka Lil Bit 4. 2.) Will you be planning to have more kids in your future? No 6 is plenty…
  • I say as long as you can enjoy a free day and then go back to your healthier eating choices, go for it. One off day every now and then isn't going to hurt your weight loss. My husband and I took a mini vacation two weeks after I started here and I was terrified of undoing all I had done. We ate out several times and even…

  • I always told myself I was happy just like I was...um no that is why I refused to be in pictures. I always told myself that I would start a weight loss plan, tomorrow, or next week, or at the beginning of the month. I always told myself there was no way I'd ever enjoy healthy food.
  • Special K cracker chips! There are several different flavors, my favorite being the sea salt. They also have cheddar and sour cream and onion. They are 30 cracker chips for 110 for the Sea Salt and 27 chips for 110 on the flavored ones. They are good with low cal dip or salsa too
  • I'm 3 weeks in and have lost 5.4 lbs. You are doing great. Don't get discouraged. Keep up the good work
  • My honest opinion is that you look sick in the middle picture. You were WAY too skinny and that just is not healthy. The last picture looks good and healthy.
  • You need seek professional help. You obvioously have a body image disorder. You are underweight as it is and if you don't get help, you are going to permanently damage your body and you may well die from it. Please talk to someone in your everyday life who loves you, and let them know what is going on. Sometimes we have to…
  • I love this!!! In order to achieve #3, do somethign you like, I thought back to when I was a kid. Back when weight wasn't an issue...what did I do back then?? Well I rode my bike everywhere, heck I rode it in circles just for fun...I swam alot (I grew up on the beach). I went to dance class and I played....And it was all…
  • Don't give up!! It takes time. Plus your weight can fluctuate 2lbs or so depending on what time of day it is....Keep on trying
  • Keep it up!! I am new here, only been trying to get healthy for a lil less that two weeks, but reading stories like yours encourage me. I think it is really cool that you also combined mental therapy to help you understand yourself. I am sure with your determination you will reach your goal!!

  • Wat worked for me when I first started drinking a lot of water was to make sure it was really cold. For some reason really cold water tastes better to me (silly I know but it works) Keep drinking water, it is really good for you and in time you will like it.

  • I have only recently joined and started trying to get healthy. I have found that eating small frequent meals is really working for me. In fact. yesterday I missed lunch due to my son's dr appt an I was starved for the rest of the day, ate too much at supper (managed to get in a workout so that I didn't go over my…
  • When I joined the site, and I put in all my info, that's what it came up with. I put that I have a sedentary lifestyle, because until I decided to get in shape I was not doing much, but sitting on my butt.
  • Im 5' 2". My 12 yr old son is almost as tall as I am lol
  • My friend and I went camping back in May and we ate realy healthy. We had kabobks one night. We got turkey smoked sausage and fresh veggies, like yellow squash Zuchini (which was amazing), fresh mushrooms, bell peppers and onions. We grilled them and they were wonderful. The next morning we made omletts in a bag. Take as…

  • You look AMAZING!! Great job
  • Is it possible for you to grow some of your own produce? Tomatoes can be grown in pots inside, and make great salsa. I have this issue with my family too, they don;'t care if they eat healthy and when you only have so much money to spend on groceries....However we do have a garden so I am able to eat fresh produce we have…
