This is the oldest I've been yet ;) , and it's the lowest weight I've been in my adult life. I think as I've got older, and tried this weight loss thing a few times, I think I've gained a lot of understanding about my triggers and what works for me. I've also gained the discipline to really make it work. So in that case,…

52.4%. 56% of my highest weight ever. :)

The only thing I've really cut out is mayo. I'm a total believer in "everything in moderation", but I cannot eat mayo in moderation - a small amount just doesn't satisfy me at all, so I don't feel it's worth the calories. For me, it works better to just avoid it all together than trying to make myself enjoy eating just a…

Oh, hell no. I enjoy food.

Chocolate Guinness Cake. Guinness is all kinds of good for you, you know.

What's wrong with tea? It's just water that's had a tea bag sitting in it for a while. :)

Science is just a constructed way of trying to make sense of what nature does. Sometimes we find out science doesn't have it right. The difference between science and religion is that science will welcome those corrections and change accordingly, because it's a method of understanding what the truth really is. When it…

Ummm... let's see... Carrots, broccoli, apples, oranges, mushrooms, peppers, cucumber, tomatoes, spinach, eggs, milk (semi-skimmed and almond milk), sausages, bacon, black pudding, a leftover baked potato, cheese (feta, cheddar, and grana padano), Coke Zero, fizzy water, Laughing Cow breadstick and dip things, deli ham, a…

Would it be easier to cut your portion sizes down instead of making a completely different meal for you? Or, on days that I need to save a few calories, I might do little swaps - so, let's say I made roast chicken, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. I'd give myself double the broccoli, or some tomatoes and cucumber instead of…

And what are you looking for at Body Pump?

I get them on Ebay

My breakfast is kind of in two parts. I usually just have a piece of fruit, or a cereal bar or something before a morning workout, then I have a protein bar, or some yogurt or something after, when I get to work.

Puréed sweet potato with some raisins and cinnamon. Love it!

I'm not embarrassed by anything I have on there right now. But just the fact that I'm *thinking* about putting that Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat thing on there is making me ashamed. PLEASE DON'T TELL ANYONE

It's really relative and has nothing to do with appearance. It's about physical ability. I feel like I'm fit, certainly compared to when I started. But obviously there are people who are miles ahead of me in fitness ability. I think someone who can walk up a hill without having to stop is fit, if they couldn't do that 6…

I haven't had one I don't absolutely love, to be honest! I think the vanilla almond and apple pie are my favourites so far. :)

Strengths: Very motivated when it comes to exercise. I commute an hour each way to work. I joined a gym in the city where I work and get up at 5am every day, Monday to Friday, so I can be there at 6:30am when they open. At least one day a week (sometimes as many as 3) I do pole classes after work, and at least one day a…

It depends on genetics. I have so, so much loose skin and I tend to hear, "Oh, you must have lost weight really fast!" Eff off, it's taken me over 3 years, and I've maintained so far for 6 months. I'm currently consulting with a cosmetic surgeon who does a lot of this type of work and feels my loose skin is fairly extreme…

I used to just use oatmeal, raisins, and almond milk. Pretty sure that came out under 200 calories. Just adjust your ingredients
-
Yeah, I started getting that when I was about 20 lbs from my initial goal (which put me at 220 lbs, 5' 7"). I'm pretty much maintaining now at around 175-180 lbs, so still technically "overweight", and I hear a lot of, "Oh, good, you don't want to get TOO skinny". I think it's just that you probably do look quite skinny to…

^ That. Define "taste horrible".

If you feel like you should be eating more calories, but don't feel like you can eat more food, try eating things that are more calorically dense. Things like nuts and avocado are a good way of getting more calories in, without necessarily eating that much more food.

I love, love, love broccoli and appreciate any opportunity to get more of it into my face!

I like the texture of brown rice, but it takes longer to cook. Depends on how much time I have. There's not enough difference between types of rice for it to matter, really.

Oh god, microwave mug cakes are an insult to dessert. I realise that there may be something wrong with ME, but sad, rubbery cake-style product doesn't really appeal.
-
That would probably be the psychiatrist I saw when I was about 21 and anorexic. The first thing out of his mouth was, "Well, it's not like you can't stand to lose some weight." Awesome.

... Get a massage therapist who isn't full of crap? I'd say that's your best bet.

Oh, just the normal "once he got what he was after, I never heard from him again" scenario. I also met my husband online, though, so it ain't all bad.

Nah, I don't really do snake oils. I had a consultation with a cosmetic surgeon yesterday. That's going to be the only strategy that will work for me with this loose skin malarky.
