  • I like quick oats mixed with hot water until it's just thicker than you want it to be, then add applesauce, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Yummm!!!

  • I'm trying to gradually lose a small amount of weight. I'm starting with just 10lbs for now, but I wouldn't be heartbroken if I went lower. 15lbs less than what I currently am is about the middle of the "healthy weight" for me. My main goal is to fit in to my jeans again. LOL I'm not in a huge hurry, though.

  • I changed my settings so you can view my food diary if that helps. At 1lb/wk I am allowed 1300 calories...at 1/2lb/wk I am allowed 1550. Monday through Friday I burn 210 calories by walking, so that ups it a bit.
  • I hope to get up to 3.5-4mph eventually, but at the moment I'm struggling to go above 3. I just started, also, from a life of sitting on my butt, so it's going to take time. I had it set to losing 1lb/wk, but I was starving to death, so I lowered it to 1/2lb for now until I get used to regulating my calories.

  • Do you have a mall you could walk at? That's where I walk since it's cold out, until it gets warm again in the spring. I go an hour before they open, but they open for walkers three hours beforehand. It's nice b/c it's dry and warm. :)
