Don't know for sure if you're following the normal post or relying on this thread so here it is. Name is Steve. Starting yesterday at 167.5lbs. Been limited due to back issues the last 8weeks but never stopping. You'll see mostly Yoga and running. 7/1 - 37 minutes of Yoga, 7/2 - 60 minutes trail running.

Absolutely have had great changes in my core, base, and cardio. It changes you without you realizing it's happening at first.

I've logged 573 days straight and believe it is the most important thing required to maintain good eating habits whether you're trying to lose, gain, or just stay on track. Exercise and motivation is also key. Always here to help if wanted.

Very well done!

While I agree that Insanity is hard on the knees I also have had a torn ACL and meniscus in one knee and a complex tear of the meniscus in the other. This was all before I attempted Insanity. I started out very slow and used a brace on the knee that was worse. As I developed strength in my legs I eventually was able to do…

Always open to those on my friends list. I hope to stay more accountable and be able to inspire those who think they can't do this.

1 cup skim milk, 1 scoop chocolate Shakeology, 1 scoop Isopure Banana Cream Protein, 1 cup water. Drink about 1/3 before my workout as part of my pre-workout, then put in freezer during workout and it comes out like a chocolate/banana shake. great for the ride to work.

Why are you down to 1200? Are you in a race to lose some weight? You should be eating your TDEE. If you cut too much for any amount of time you will slow your metabolic rate, not to mention you won't have enough fuel for your exercise routines. You should use exercise as a health benefit.

I was able to add some decent mass and continued doing some running. I was running about 15 miles a week along with weight training. Eating seems to be the difficult part since you will need to eat even if you are full. Your calorie intake is dependent on your weight/height and your calories burning through both workouts.

I still log everything everyday. Been over 500 days. Main reason is I'm in the progress of reshaping myself so I lift and eat more for some time and then it's back to cardio and cutting down. Been within a 15lb. range now for about 9 months or so. I have gotten very good at making much better choices but still use it as a…

I've logged on MFP for over 500 days straight and logging every little thing you eat is really the only way to be truthful to yourself and accurate. If you would like more accountability, join me in January on team destinationfit4life as I continue my journey. I will help you with both tips and motivation. If I get a good…

It happens to most everyone, key is realizing it and being able to get back to the good choices you normally make. The day or two won't derail your progress if you don't let it and give up. I'm getting a group (team destinationfit4life) together on FB together in January as I continue my journey. It's open to anyone who is…

You've stepped up by joining the MFP community and reading your breakfast decision after checking the calories is such a great start for you. I often add food into my diary before eating or preparing it or especially when eating out. It makes a huge difference in your journey. If you would like, join me in January on team…

That's a great accomplishment. Very well done. I've just began a 3rd round of Insanity and will be doing P90x3 in January. If you would like, join me in January on team destinationfit4life as I continue my journey. It can help you with both tips and motivation. If I get a good number of people in the group we'll have more…

I been through it myself and also help some others. Let me know if I can help. It is quite normal to hold or gain when you first start strength training.

First off I've been on MFP everyday for just about 500 days so I am not going anywhere. I've been working out in the mornings 6-7 days a week since June 2012. Went down a total of 48 lbs. but felt too thin in areas so I went on a mass building program to add muscle. That program ends in a week and has worked but I've also…

I know almost exactly what you are going through. My better half struggles the same way. She had lost 50 lbs. with WW and then went up approx. 30. I kind of waited for her before, then thought we were doing it together and she stopped while I continued. I can't go back and have been working out 6-7 days a week since June…

Being honest enough to post your day regardless of what you have eaten is a step in the right direction. Once you've started sharing then others can help and you also will be more likely to watch what you eat yourself to avoid possibly letting others down. Nothing happens overnight so just keep your head up and let's get…

I've got 1 week of Body Beast left and when I checked two weeks ago I had gained 1" each around my upper arms and upper legs. I too had done Insanity and lost a total of 48lbs through diet and Insanity. I also felt too thin and did rounds of Asylum 1 &2 to add some resistance training. I gained about 6-8lbs. Since staring…

What is your calorie intake. Sometimes a plateau is a sign you need to eat a little more to jump start the metabolism or feed the exercises you're doing. 2x I added 150-200 calories daily and saw a loss the very next week.
