Pick a workout program to follow. It helps when you have a specific schedule of workouts. I am on my second round of Insanity and find that having the specific routine to do each day encourages me to make sure I get it in. Also have someone or a group to be accountable to. No one wants to be the one who doesn't post their…

Are you eating something for breakfast? Start hitting some protein drinks in the morning. You'll consume approx. 400-500 good calories right there. I mix it with 2 cups of skim milk and then on some heavy workout days will often take a second shake off to work and finish it in an hour or two.

i'm on week 4 the second time through Insanity. I just love it. If I can be of any help let me know. You can also find me on beachbody web site as SWREZn8. I was 196lbs last year and now I'm hanging in around 151. Just about ready to push a little more. I have really learned how to eat correctly for working out and keeping…

Just do it! I'm on my second time through and you can get through it if you go your pace until you've worked yourself into shape. Look me up on team beachbody as SWREZn8. Any advice our help I can give is no problem.

Insanity all the way. You can find me on beachbody as SWREZn8 if you need any coaching.

I did Insanity once so far and then a hybrid P90x/Insanity. I liked Insanity enough that now I'm at the end of week four of my second time. I too have had knee issues, but I think Insanity has help strengthen my knees and now I can do everything without pain.

I'm always willing to give any guidance I can. Dropped over 40lbs through diet and exercise this year. Also lowered my choloesterol 35 points. I'm currently on week 4 of my 2nd time through Insanity program. You can also find me as a coach on the beachbody website as SWREZn8.

I'm on week 4 of my 2nd round of Insanity. Diet is currently1500 minimum + additional calories for any workouts.

I find the same issue with my better half, problem is she's unhealthy and depressed over her weight and goes to weight watchers and another self help club but doesn't want to listen to any advice I might give. Never has.

Absolutely, I hit a plateau myself and until I increased my calories was stuck for about 3-4 weeks. I up my calories by 300 daily and started losing again. It's not fast but I have lost about 3 lbs in 2-3 week period. I'm actually finding it hard to eat that much after being used to my previous total.

Tying my shoes in the morning caused shortness of breath, mirror and pics I didn't like, just shy of 200lbs at 5'6" and then most recently Dr. stated I should take cholesterol meds. I asked for 3 more months to control it naturally and to his suprise I dropped it 35 points to well within acceptable range.

You probably weren't eating enough to feed your exercise routine in the first place. I know you don't want to lose, but some people trying to lose weight actually don't realize sometimes they need to eat more to lose weight long term. Run your numbers on MFP with your basic activity level not including workouts and see…
-
If MFP is stating 1900 and you have your walking included in your setup then that's probably close. I use the sedetary setting and then eat back the calories I burn. This allows me to do different things each day and make sure I am feeding the exercises. You can go low calories initially but then your body will adjust and…

You've definitely nailed it. The power jumps will kill them if you don't work up to it. Take it slow at first. As your legs and shins get stronger you will then be able to do it. You may need a couple days to recover first and if needed skip the jumps the first few workouts until you are completely healed. You may also…

Do your Pure Cardio if your in week 1-4 or Max Interval Circuit if in weeks 6-9.

I 100% agree with shrinkalork if you can't afford it there are multiple products available. Shakeology is definitely a good product though and if you are interested let me know. I am a beachbody coach and you can find me as SWREZn8.

Week 1 is tough just because of the dedication and change you have suddenly decided to embark on. Week 2 you now know what to expect but it still gets you. I work out in the morning at 4am so I am up at 3:30am drinking a pre-workout and some water to get my body ready for the workout. If you are fatigued easily or are…

I am actually on my 2nd Insanity round which I just started last week. Let me know if I can help.

If you stick to it, you won't be dissapointed. I've lost 5" on my waist. Team beachbody coach SWREZn8.
-
I experienced the same results in my first 3 weeks. Gained 2-3 lbs. but get stronger. I actually started seeing the weight drop around week 5 which is the recovery week. Then the last 4 weeks I lost about 12-14lbs. I wouldn't change a thing though. I followed it with a P90x/Insanity hybrid workout and now i'm into my 2nd…

Take pictures and look at the physical changes you've made. The scale doesn't always show your success. I have also found that being part of an accountability group is helpful also. As humans we find it easy to quit on ourselves but rarely would we want to be the person in a group that says I quit or skipped today's…

I was never a morning person. I start work at 6am and used to always get up as late as possible to shower and get there. However, when I decided I wanted to work out I ran into the same problems you describe as far as no time after work with everything going on including getting kids here and there. I also found that late…

I have done it through the moderation and excercise method. Your best bet is to work slowly at it. Set small 5 to 10 lb. goals that are much more attainable and mentally you will feel much better that you have actually achieved goals you've set. Many people set goals so far out it is extremely hard to reach them without…
