Yup, this is what I did as well. The 30 DS really did great by me. I am thinking of giving it another go next month. Kicked my butt, but it also gave me a great sense of accomplishment. Stick with it!

"Mommy, you smell like a rainbow." There were NO skittles involved. :)

The thing that made me decide to start losing weight......getting in the car and leaning over to close the door without having to HEAVE myself to reach it.

I started induction April 15th. I love eating this way. I try to keep my carbs under 30 or so. Feel great. Have lost 28 pounds so far but still have a good deal to go. Feel free to add me.

It isn't something you believe in? Then don't do it. Easy peasy.

Can you get your bagged salad and take that with you? The fresh express salads have the nutritional information on them. I would imagine it is the tomatoes, which you maybe should avoid for a few weeks, and the carrots have a few carbs as well. Feel free to add me if you like. I log daily and my diary is open to friends.…

Hopefully each success spurs you on to more successes! Congratulations to you!

Luckily it is against the rules at my office to be barefoot.

Such a great, well written, motivating letter! Thank you so much for sharing. I really loved it.

I don't like water so I put 1/3 of an individual packet of Crystal Lite Peach Mango green tea in 16 ounces of water.

I certainly can see the difference, and it is a milestone definitely worth celebrating. So happy for you!

You truly are an inspiration. I agree with you so much about being happy. I waited for so long, thinking the person I was married to was supposed to miraculously make me happy. Finally I realized that my happiness was up to me, not someone else! Glad to hear your came to the same conclusion. Sort of gives us our own power…

I did it as a total exercise beginner. I was sore as heck for the first few days, but I kept at it. It did get a bit easier as I neared the end of each section. I noticed my stamina really improving, though it still gave me a great work out. I don't think I have ever sweat in my life as much as I did doing that workout! I…

TOPS is still very active. I believe each local chapter comes up with their own incentives, prizes, and contests for most weight lost, etc. Then they have big state-wide and nationwide meetings yearly or quarterly or something. I think it is a great way to be accountable and have some encouragement, plus it is wayyy less…

I logged it as circuit training. :)

Isn't it amazing the things that can be accomplished when we really set our minds to it? Congratulations to you! I hope you are very proud of yourself! I bet your friends are proud of you as well! People like you truly do serve as an inspiration.

I will cook my protein e.g. steak, burgers, pork chops, etc. but will then make rice, noodles, potatoes etc as a side dish for my kids. We can all eat the can of veggies. Not a big deal here. If I make a roast or roast a chicken, I throw a couple potatoes in the crock pot for them. I just don't eat them.

Well, I didn't take pics because I am still at the very beginning of my weight loss journey. I did, however, take measurements. During the month of June, with diet and Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, I lost 2 1/2 inches off my bust, 2 1/2 inches off my waist, 2 off my hips,2 inches off my upper arms, and half an inch off my…

That is wonderful! You are the man!

Tacos for the boys, taco salad for me!

So what is on for July? Are there any other good workouts that take less than 30 minutes a day? I love being able to work out before I get ready for work!

Haddock baked with a thin layer of mayonnaise and shredded parmesan and some green beans. Kids had baked potatoes as well.

When you log your exercise here on the site, they go by amount of time walked, not distance.

I started level 3 today. I have a bad knee so I find that I have to use more of the modifications, which also makes me feel like I am not getting the full benefit of the work out. I thought level 2 was much more challenging so maybe I should just keep on level 2 for my last 9 days. I am undecided so I guess I will do level…

I have found on level 3, as I have a bad knee and have to use many of the modifications, that level 2 seemed more difficult. Maybe I should just do level 2 my last 9 days.

You are doing great Demarii! You are a day ahead of me, so I anxiously await your report on your first day of level 3 tomorrow!
