Not necessarily trying to conceive immediately, but I finish my doctoral degree in December, and want to in the next year or so after that. Hey ladies! I am in the same boat as you all. I am 5'3 and 230.6 as of this morning. I would love to lose about 90 lbs or get back down to a size 8. I enjoy lifting so I was a "heavy" size 8 back in high school. Would love to get back to a size that I am comfortable with. Feel free to add me.

Jillian Michaels has a great video called "shredding with weights" or something similar. I just started using it this week and I feel ALL the muscles working I didn't know I had lol.

My goal is to lose 6 lbs during September. I would also like to lose 2 inches off my waist. I'll come and post my measurements on the 1st!

It is definitely not as accurate as a personal HRM. I love my HRM and usually eat back about 1/2-2/3 of the calories burned depending on if I exercise at night or during the morning. If I work out at night there is just no way I can eat all of the extra calories at the end of the day.

Also I just started the Spitfire app for women. and it is pretty good. Pictures, videos, timers and workouts you can choose from. My back and shoulders are killing me today but I am loving it! I used to really love lifting but I have never actually followed a routine and I think this might just work!

wow!!! I am just starting MFP up again and have been trying to really dedicate myself this time. I can do it!! You all are my inspiration!! I am starting at 214.6 and hope that I can get down to 200 lbs by the end of May and 190 by June 24 (my 26th birthday!) We can do it!!!

I am excited about this as well! I am meeting my boyfriends family for the Christmas holidays and I am trying to have gotten under 200 by the time I meet them! I think I can do this!

I would love to join! My goal is about 50 lbs but this is a GREAT place to start. I am currently 182 and want to return to my high school weight (only five years ago but college and now medical school is piling it on!) of about 135-138. Yay!!
