Nope... I didn't start losing weight consistently until I cleaned up my diet. You don't have to be perfect but you do need to make healthful decisions!

You should just read the nutrition labels on your food and enter it in that way. The database isn't perfect, but people eat a lot of different things and enter them in. If you have the app you can also scan barcodes. Which is accurate. Where there is a will there's a way.

Unless your thyroid is a problem now then I doubt that's the issue. Stay consistent and get some movement in. I didn't really lose any weight until after the first 3 weeks. Your body needs time to get used to this new lifestyle and once it does you will probably lose weight a lot faster. Just stay focused!

I always go over too. One thing I have found is the days I eat less packaged food the easier it is for me to stay under. I have no diagnosed health issue but I sure hate water weight and extra sodium makes me retain water. SO it's different for everyone but the less you out of a package the less sodium you will consume. :)

Offer to cook! Not that you should make dinner every night but making the effort to make everyone a healthy meal and then keeping the leftovers for your future meals is surprisingly helpful. Also, have low cal versions of your favorite snacks around all the time so when you get tempted and give in it's not as big of a deal.

If you have an iPhone also try NTC (Nike Training Club) and do the leaner legs workout. Since doing that and running I have lost two inches off my hips. Which, as you know, is a lot!
