It really does depend! Although I feel like a man has to have a certain look about him to rock the full on beard. Most men can pull off the 5 though, I think the shadow looks best on all men. And no fu IMO!!!

I log my food after I weigh it, so if I do go over by a few grams or an ounce, I'll be exact on my food log.

I'm not sure if menopause has any effect on weight loss or gain, but that would be interesting to find out. You never know with hormones.

I've done one in New Mexico and I loved it, I didn't have any bad experiences with the color that they throw, I thought it was a blast. If you're a serious runner, I've noticed that they kind of just go around the color stations because usually you have to slow down to get the color thrown on you, so there is that.

I refuse to give up my coffee!! I did learn to tone it down a bit though. I use 1 packet of Stevia, plus a measured tablespoon of flavored creamer. I can have 2 cups of coffee for 70 calories.

Yep! Don't feel bad if you have to do just the bar at first, that's where I started (am doing 5X5 strong lifts). Also, I worked on my form with a broomstick before I started with weights because I think knowing how and where to tighten your body when you lift, and how to breathe is important.
