I use the runkeeper app on my phone. I uses gps to track my run and even shows elevation and also talks to me every half mile or say during my run to update me on my progress, my time and average page. It also tracks my approximate calories burned and sync with the website where I can track goals and sign up for race…

Of course you will lose weight if you are at a caloric deficit at the end of the week. Why the heck would you want to limit yourself to only 500 cals two days a week though when you could just eat sensibly and well all week without starving yourself for two days instead?

Just because you believe in 'traditional' marriage does not mean you need to make a law against marriage that is not what you would deem 'traditional'. Biblically speaking, marriage should also be between a man and woman who are equally yoked so do you want to make a law that bans marriage between those of different…

I don't NET 1200 either after working out. I'm not particularly concerned. I don't think that you can say that a strict 1200net necessarily applies to everybody. Will I eventually slowly add calories back? Likely yes, but right now I feel full of energy and am completely satisfied with what I'm eating. I have great…

This is another day from this week. Normally I don't eat the same thing for breakfast and lunch but I've been doing it more recently just because I've been making larger dishes. Usually I get closer to 100g of protein but this has been a rough week with a back problem so at least I haven't needed it so much after working…

Well, this was mine today, despite the notion on here that nobody should ever eat just 1200cals. I had the same for lunch and dinner since I just made black bean soup. I usually have a big 40g protein shake for breakfast but I ran out! I ran out of fresh fruit too! Breakfast Vitalicious - Vitatops (Deep Chocolate), 1…

I only wrote this so people could look at things from a different perspective. It's all for fun, but to make a serious point. I'm sorry for the tiny font!

Obviously these people are talking about doing as they like as long as it doesn't harm other people. I'm pretty sure nobody is saying, "Oh, you want to kill your mother? Okay, do as you like!"

You're very welcome and I completely agree with you!

You seem to have a need to try and make people feel like idiots and don't even realize it. Obviously she is talking to the 99% of people on this site who do not live in societies with these kinds of laws. Her statement doesn't mean she can't look outside of her own backyard either.

You willingly opened this 'junk' and read it in the "chit-chat, fun, and games" section... :noway: :grumble:

Bump!

This is simple. Break up with him. He doesn't need to be with somebody who talks about him like that and you obviously don't want to be with him either.

There are lots of good 'ice cream' recipes out there. like this one for example, http://www.thegraciouspantry.com/clean-eating-chocolate-banana-ice-cream/. And I'm sure you can switch them up a little and use almond or coconut milk instead or other things you like.

While we're at it, these are some delicious vegan peanut butter cups. The recipe is from the book, The Kind Diet by Alicia Silverstone. http://thekindlife.com/blog/post/chocolate-peanut-butter-cups

Wow, she really deactivated? I guess she didn't like what she was hearing.

I know it's tough sometimes but it can be done. I am a full time doctoral student with a 4.0 as well as a graduate assistant. I teach and am involved in research. I log everything I eat every day and exercise at least 5 days a week. It is all about priorities. Until you are fully invested in your weight loss and health and…

Now I'm also thinking a gyro and some crabbed stuffed shrimp with hollandaise sauce

^ This is what I personally believe but I'm completing accepting of others' beliefs as well

Haha, that's the perfect time to be posting this kind of stuff! Your creative juices are flowing! lol

I'm adding brownies with cream cheese icing, a basket of bread and warm butter, a cheese plate and a bottle of red wine if they would let me have it.
-
Haha, I would too but in that article I read above it says the aren't aloud to have any booze! I don't know why it would matter!

They asked this on the Hungry Girl Facebook page last night and put up this interesting link too: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/08/29/comfort-foods-last-meal_n_1839009.html?utm_hp_ref=food As for me, I would have trouble narrowing down what I'd want. This is a big handful of things that would make me a little happier…

i love just getting out in nature. Find some place beautiful and make it your spot. My favorite photography is outdoors too. Taking my dog out is also nice. I very much enjoy a bubble bath, with a candle lit, a glass of red wine and some mellow music playing...sooooo relaxing. Just putting a record on and lighting some…

Bump. I'd be interested to know too.

I can make sandwiches out of potato bread. I don't know what kind you are eating but the kind I see and have had from the grocery store is sliced just like regular bread.
-
Probably smaller portions. I will have (or had) multiple cupcakes, the whole box of pasta, multiple muffins, the whole bar of chocolate, an extra large milkshake and a whole bag of chips. Chances are they enjoy those things in smaller portion sizes.
-
Haha. Thank you. I'm right there with ya. I don't mind being a dog who gets treats when she is good :)

My classes this semester are all from 7:15-9:45 and usually when I have late classes I go get fast food afterward but this semester I will eat a healthy dinner during my office hours before class, or eat something light during class. I will not raid the vending machines either because I plan to always have healthy snacks…
