I like to download any of the free BBC Radio One Essential Mixes from the Soundcloud. They two straight hours of various types of techno by whichever dj they are featuring, with no commercials. I think not having songs starting and ending keeps me focused and then I am also not tempted to sing along. Some of my favorites…

I like to get on Soundcloud and find BBC Radio One Essential Mixes. It's like 2 hours of different types of techno, but the nonstop stream of music helps me focus and the time seems to fly during my cardio. I like Drumsound & Baseline Smith, R3hab, DJ Snake, and Amine Edge and DANCE.

I like to bake it with just a little olive oil, sea salt, and pepper.

I get up early and go to the gym at 6am. It's definitely not as busy at that time. I have a mild social anxiety, so the fewer people to dodge the better off I am. I also make sure to have a fully charged mp3 player. I put my headphones in and block out everything else. I change my routine every 4-6 weeks so I don't get too…

I weigh daily, but only log Friday morning's weight as the official for the week.

I've done this before.

I'm going to sleep through it so I can hit the gym at 6am on Monday before I go to work. Plus, the Steelers aren't playing so there's really no point in watching.

This is how I make sure I get my workouts in. I'm far more motivated early in the morning than I am in the evening. Plus, I have school that I'm dedicated to in the evening.

I find so many healthy recipes on Pinterest. I stockpile them on my Healthy eating board and then print them off as I use them. I cook for one so I'll make an entire recipe and freeze what I'm not going to use that week.

I prep on Sunday for the work week. Because I work full-time and I'm a part-time student I have absolutely no time during the week to cook. I also fit my workouts in at 6am because the evenings are just too hectic. I try to focus on foods that I can freeze if necessary or things that won't go bad quickly. I'd prep for a…

There is an entire group under the community tab for Fitbit users if you haven't found that already. You can add me as well. My email is j.rockskneesocks@gmail.com.

Mine isn't syncing between Fitbit and MFP either. I was just going to post to see if this was just me or across the board. I had no problems yesterday, but this morning's exercise isn't showing up on MFP and my food diary isn't showing on Fitbit. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting the sync, but no luck. Maybe it…

I want my money back. And I want angels to give it to me. And pixies to count it out, and a gnome or a hobbit or an elf to sleep at the foot of my bed, and have - I just want them all over my backyard. But no matter what happens with any of that, I DO want my money back.

Just curious, when is the next Hogwarts challenge starting?

I quit smoking 5.5 years ago. It wasn't easy, but I found other things to replace the nicotine cravings. I also kept a straw, that I cut to the length of a cigarette, in my reach. That way I could still satisfy the hand/mouth habit without actually smoking. It helped a lot. I quit smoking in March and in April I started…

I would love to be in this challenge. I'd like to request Ravenclaw house.

I love my Fitbit Flex. I've had it for almost a year and I wear it everywhere, including the shower and the pool. It also counts the calories I burn when I do water aerobics or swim laps, so it's not just counting steps. Plus, if you sync it with MFP, it will automatically calculate your calories for the day. i feel it is…

I buy mine at Swimoutlet.com. They're pretty great about sizing, customer review and returns... Plus they're way cheaper for name brands than shopping at a sporting goods store.

abdominal crunches for cramps in the front and dead lifts if they're in the back. Cramps are essentially your uterus contracting, I find that forcing the other muscles around it to contract with exercise seems to help the most for me.

The kids in my grade school called me Twinkie because I was heavier than all but one girl in my class.

I like mine with ground pepper and cherry tomatoes... sometimes a little cucumber.

Obviously, swimming with your fingers apart is not great form, which is why most lap swimmer who use gloves know how to switch it up. I don't swim with my fingers apart when I'm not using my gloves. Although, I believe I read an article where the new "thing" is to swim with your fingers relaxed and slightly apart (ie. not…

Hi there. I swim 5 days a week for anywhere from 20-35 minutes. I average anywhere between 1/2- 1 mile daily. Swimming is both cardio and resistance training. If you spend 30 minutes in a pool doing a combination of 4 different strokes you will hit just about every muscle group (and that advice came straight from my…
