Search for the thread "In place of a roadmap" it will help you figure out your TDEE subtract 20% or 500 to get how many calories you should be eating a day. If your BMR is 1800 you should be eating above that because your bmr is the amount of calories your body needs to function even if you laid and did nothing all day!…

You have to find out what your TDEE is and take 20% off of that to get your calorie intake. You can goto this website http://www.fitnessfrog.com/calculators/tdee-calculator.html and once it gives you your TDEE take 20% of that to find out how many calories you should be eating a day. Eat more protein! I had the same problem! I was starving all the time and didnt understand it because i was eating spinach salads and fruit etc but i was told to eat more protein because it keeps you full longer and once i did i wasnt starving anymore!

The best way is to use a heart rate monitor since it would be most accurate. I started at 1300 and didnt lose any weight so i uped my caloried to 1600 and started losing.. My TDEE is 2356 and 20% of that is 1886 but considering most people are eating 1200-1300 i thought that seemed too high so i stayed at 1600..
