I think that moderation and physical activity is the key. Regardless of your family eating regimen, I belive that you can still enjoy that but just not so much and make sure veggies are incorporated. My goals for the week were to reduce sugar intake and sodium intake. I have been doing good so far. As far as my weight, I do think that on Monday I will be down at least 2 pounds.

The weekends are my time to drink. I don't track my calories so closely on the weekends now. I do exercise to absorb some of the calories that I know beer and alcohol add. I try to stick with the light beers.

I eat after I workout in the morning. Even in the military, you eat after your workout. I'm sure that everyone is different though.

I hear from a personal trainer that you lose the most weight in the morning prior to eating. I would assume that this would be the same if you work out later in the day. I don't feel so good with I attempt to workout right after eating. Maybe a 2-3 hour break between eating then workout seems good.

I maintained by goals this week of waking up in the a.m. to get my walk/jog in. I'm planning on my goals for next week. 8/1/2011 - 8/7/2011 CW 214 GW 212 Continue getting up in a.m. to walk/jog. Not going over MFP suggest amount.

okay, so I didn't wake up this morning for my a.m. jog. I'm going to make up for that when I get off. I did make up for the 20 minutes I missed yesterday morning. Le' go.

My goal 7/25-7/31 - wake up early enough each weekday morning and go jogging/walking before work; wake up saturday and sunday early enough to go jogging/walking. I did get up this morning and walk, but not the 45 minutes that I need to. I will make up those 20 minutes after work. Le' go!!

I use whatever machine that I'm using because I put to put in my weight and age. If I'm not using a machine, I use my pedometer, but sometimes seems off target compared to wearing it on the machine.
