  • I'm not making excuses for his behavior, but, just thinking, could it be bcoz he wasn't a part of it. Maybe he feels left out or jealous about you having fun with your family while he is being sidelined. Or maybe he is possessive....OR maybe going thru PMS :-)
  • My thighs and a bit of my butt. I hate my "thunder thighs" they have been my problem spot for as long as I can remember....
  • Tell them you tried "losing weight and not losing your mind". The more you think about your weight, the tougher it is to lose. Think THIN....YOU ARE WHAT YOU THINK.

  • In your post you have mentioned metformin. One of the endo docs that I consulted started me in Metformin during November last year. The first few days I had severe loose motions. So I lost a lot of water and my weight dropped a couple of pounds. My energy levels got extremely low. I was feeling fatigued and depressed. All…
  • Thank you people for all the tips and motivation. I feel very relieved that I'm not alone. Misery indeed loves company:-) Jokes apart, all of you have a similar message and that is - don't give up! that is exactly what I intend to do. @Debbie thank you for the tip about alcohol. I'm by no means a regular alcohol consumer,…
  • @lmelangley Thank you for your reply. Your advice seems practical and sound. One more reason for me to stick to my regime:-)

  • Thanks Bill for your advice. I did check my BMR as suggested, and notice that for a few days this month I have consumed less than my BMR requirement. Shall stick to the minimum requirement and see how it works. Shall keep you posted on the results:-) thanks!!
  • Totally understand the frustration. There are lots of women like us who have the same condition but have managed to lose the excesses. I guess the important thing is to hang in there, literally work our buts off and eat right. Not getting enough sleep and stress too could be making the weight loss difficult. I have heard…

I work out nearly 5 days a week, 60 minutes of cardio. I'm a vegetarian (Indian) so our food is mainly carbs. However I have taken to avoiding carbs…

Slowly the pounds piled on. Went through a divorce, more pounds piled on. After 3 years I'm now 203 pounds. I want to lose weight not…
