I'd move from Washington State back to Illinois. My baby sister has already told me I could stay with her and her hubby.

My birthday is the day after the election and I'm hoping to celebrate my birthday by having a new president. My son-in-law has already stated he will move out of the country is Obama is re-elected. I told him if that's the case, save me a seat in the back of his car because I'm going with him.

I'm with you on that AmberJo. Especially after I watched the Obama's America 2016.

I agree. Still waiting for that "October surprise".

LOL I started to click the "LIKE" button then remembered I wasn't on Facebook.

I haven't read it and have no desire to.

I'd hire a chef and a maid. I hate to cook and clean.

I'm a little bit younger than the OP at 59 in another month and I've been single forever it seems.

I'm a strong, independent woman too. I've been a single parent on my own for years and I don't need a man to do anything for me. I've learned to be self-sufficient and do things for myself. That said, if I had another chivalrous man come into my life, I'd hang on to that man for dear life because there are so few of them…

LOL WIN!

Even MSNBC, who is clearly in the tank for Obama, has to admit that Romney won the debate. I love the look on Rachel Maddow's face at the end of this video. I can't stand to watch her. She just has such an attitude that I can't stand but she looks like she got taken down a notch.…

I thought it was a great debate. Romney knocked it out of the park!

In other words, stay in your own home and never go anywhere?

That's easier said than done. I have to go outside and take a bus to go places. Even at bus stops or the bus station (out in the open) it's nearly impossible to stay away from smokers. Many times I've had to move more than once to get away from smokers while waiting for the bus. It's hard to do when they don't all stand in…

I'm 58 years old an have been coloring my hair for years. My son tells me I have to go gray some time but I tell him "Not as long as they still make hair color!"

Yeah, the big open space outside where I try to stay away from smokers but sometimes it's nearly impossible. Like when I'm standing at a bus stop waiting for a bus and someone walks past me smoking a strong cigarette and happens to exhale smoke when they walk by me. Or when I'm walking somewhere and pass a smoker and get a…

Wow! You comment on the rude people on here but you're just as rude when you deliberately blow smoke at someone who coughs and splutters. Believe me not everyone who coughs and splutters is doing it just to make a point. I'm one of those people who cough and splutter because I can't stand it when I get a face full of…

Sometimes it's not that simple to just get up and leave instead of having to inhale second hand smoke. At my previous job, I shared an office with a co-worker who smoked. It was really hard for me to breath when she would come in from her smoke break. I couldn't just get up and leave. Also I ride the Metro bus for…

Or maybe there's something in the flu shot that's making them sick. To me, there's just way too big of a concidence that people who never had the flu or gotten that sick before all of a sudden get the flu or get really sick after getting the flu shot. Just seems really fishy to me.
-
After hearing something to that extent on the radio this morning, I no longer think this whole zombie appocalypse thing is just a big joke. I've never had the flu shot and never intend on getting one. :noway: :noway: :noway: :noway:

The most I've found was over $300 years ago when I was working as a maid at a motel. The money was laying on the bed and the blankets had been thrown over it. It was right before Christmas and I really could have used the money but every time I thought about keeping it I would get this thought, "God won't let me keep it".…

My name is Betty and I've always loved my name. Even in print I think it is so pretty.
-
Lacey is such a pretty name. I was going to name my son Lacey if he had been a girl.
-
I know I shouldn't let it but that just iritates the crap out of me when I have to be the one who always moves out of the way. I'm constantly thinking to myself "I know for a fact I'm not invisible and I'm not that doggone little!"

You would have definitely not liked my late boyfriend then. He always insisted on opening doors for me even if I got to the door first and had to wait for him to open it. He definitely believed chivalry wasn't dead. He passed away a number of years ago and I still miss him. He was the best boyfriend I ever had.
