  • Sharon, do you have a cardio and squat report for all week? And how many cups of water each day? Also, what about the 'new exercise' part of the challenge? Got your weigh-in posted...Thanks!
  • Well, I have TOM in the house - if he *has* to be here, I guess the first weigh-in is a good time! So, this morning, I was at 109.8.

  • Wednesday...too busy today! No cardio, no new exercise, no squats! Water: 10 cups Like Kora said, surely tomorrow will be better! Oh, and I still have to put up my before picture...I dread that!
  • Oh, Sharon...what a terribly hectic schedule! It sounds like you've done really well getting in as much as you have! I don't know how you women do all this AND work outside your home! :( Kora, good job so far! Now, just *make* yourself drink more water! Over the last six months, I've trained myself to drink it room…
  • I hope this works...never put pictures on a thread before; had to have my son help me! So here's what I made for supper tonight: Grilled Herbed Dijon Chicken, Raw Broccoli Salad, and Roasted Squash and Peppers We grilled the chicken breasts (outside over cedar & hickory) with minimal salt; here's the Herbed Dijon Sauce…

Cardio: 65 (25-circuit; 40-Leslie Sansone DVD) New Exercise: not yet Squats: 110 Water: 12 I still have to do my recipe/photo and my before…
  • Ummm, I think that's it, unless I missed something (somebody yell if we're forgetting something!) By 'food challenge,' you're referring to the recipe/photo thing?
  • Sharon, i joined the site last summer (I think,) but I too am new to this particular challenge. I was thinking that we could all come to this BROWN thread and post our daily challenge accomplishments...report what we've done *at least* every couple of days (ideally every day!) I intend to keep a chart (on paper - that's…
  • Oh, and I also have a 'rule' for myself...I can't start on my morning coffee until I've had at least a cup of water...
  • Hey guys!!! Looks like I'll be serving as our team's captain, so let's get busy, guys! Kora, I'm excited too...and, like you said, scared at the same time! Just the idea of 'challenging' ourselves can be scary, but let's just take this one day - one hour even - at a time, and show it who's boss! We can *definitely*…
  • Name: Pam How much do you weigh: 111.4 How many lbs would you like to lose?: ? • bump, so that I can study this thread when I have time...thanks!
  • bump...thanks, everybody!
  • That's GREAT!!! I know how you feel...I'm below my high school weight, and for this morning's weigh-in, I got on the scale four times just to make sure it was really right! It feels WONDERFUL, doesn't it! Great Job! :)
  • YES!!! I just had a bowl with: 1/3 of a banana, mashed 1/4 cup of cottage cheese (made it myself for the first time a couple of days ago!) 1/4 cup of greek yogurt 1/2 tablespoon of Smucker's Simply Fruit Blueberry 2 tablespoons of my Maple Cashew Granola I *LOVE* this combo! And thanks for all these other great ideas!
  • We're also the "only species" to drive cars or hold wedding ceremonies! Should we stop doing these things simply because we're the only species that does them? Of course not! The Bible talks about the drinking of milk in a favorable light...that's good enough for me!
  • Yeah, I am constantly amazed at how ugly people can be on here! It seems to me that the problem arises when others think that they know what's best for everybody. I keep my calories fairly low and DO NOT eat back my exercise calories; I HATE the idea of working out for the purpose of being able to eat more. And I do not…
  • bump...thanks!
  • I always wonder how the bigger folks run without hurting themselves, especially on some of the older seasons I watched on Netflix when they had them running the marathon. A year ago, I hurt my hip flexor (to the point of being on crutches) jogging an easy 3 miles, and weighing 125-130. :O
  • Hate to be a coycat, but...BUMP!
  • Me too !!! April 1 !!!
